My estimation is i started these somewhere around early february. They were started in solo cups and transplanted to 2 gallons. I didn't find they took much longer to root than the other plants they were alongside which were transplanted into 1 gallons.
FFC still growing strong. 4 girls with different structures and the fifth one is behind the rest, not pictured here. Her leaves are doing the taco and she just hasn't taken to the transplant in general. Will give her some time. For the other 4, i have done some various training, most were topped at their 6th node and had some minimal LST on one. One plant is much higher than the others, with node spacing being very distant from one to the other. Perfect structure on 2 of them after topping, they are growing as nice bushes. The 4th one grew at an angle but is filling out nicely as a bush as well.
A little more training on some plants while the others are left to do their thing after the topping. Overall some pretty decent vigour on these plants. The taller one has some gorgeous fan leaves.
I started taking cuttings from the plants while trimming the lowers. I've never really taken clones before. i will evetually get a dome and some rooting plugs and stuff but for now i'm doing this the slow way just putting them in water until there are roots. As for the plants they will be flowered soon. I might keep my favorite in veg and up-pot it. I'm looking forward to these, been curious about these for a while now. Never been a fan of the name but who cares as long as the flower is bomb
Put 3 plants in flower on the 9th and 1 on the 12th. Did some LST on all plants to get them to bush out, especially the tallest one. The tallest and stretchiest pheno i cut down and kept in veg. Unsure what to do with it but couldn't flower it with the others as it would have outgrown the light within a week.
These plants are trucking along. Of the four in flower the bigger one was tied down last week and it's bushed out pretty nice through the beginning of the stretch. If i hadnt tied it down it would be in the light already. The other three haven't stretched too much so far. Really looking forward to seeing these in later flower.
2 plants got some defoliation on day 21, the 3th was flowered a couple days later. The runt i ended up having to discard as the other plants are taking up too much space and it just looked like shit overall, leaves were dying etc. Only unhealthy plant of the 50+ going atm so goodbye. The tallest pheno remains in veg and is being trimmed and maintained every couple weeks as it stretches quick. I finally bought a dome with a T5 light and took some clippings of it and other plants in veg like my Black Tuna and Golden Tiger.
Of the 4 plants in flower, no smells yet but they are stacking daily and have begun producing resin. The first plant is my obvious favorite, amazing sructure and vigour, never showed signs of being unhappy/under/overwatered, obviously the one i wish had kept a clone of. Oh well, maybe will have to try my hand at re-vegging if necessary.
#3 is kind of hard to distinguish from surrounding plants but it has a couple dozen tops and is spread out wide
This strain is a beauty to grow. All 3 phenos are easy going, not showing any deficiencies and putting out good amounts of resin. Smells range from kushy/skunky/vanilla/sugar cereal/fruity.
They are currently at the end of week 6 and have started to show signs of maturation. I am aiming around 10 weeks.
