First time growing this strain, very easy. The plant basically looked after herself, she stayed
short and squat and didn't produce a very big yield. 92 grams wet and after a week in the dry
tent I ended up with only 19 grams dry π. The buds were dense and sticky, just not alot of them.
Thinking about making a topical out of this plant, right now it's curing in the jar awhile.
Thanks for stopping byπππ
And there it is my friend π I'm all about the Kush π The Purrrrrple Kush π so happy your going the route growmie , as I'm sure your aware , I'm loving the purp so far in my current grow , which is due for an update tomorrow , so I will keeping an eye out for ya , Happy Growing mate π
@Tropicannibis_Todd,I grew two before, Purple Kush from sonoma seeds, turned out really goodππ..
Check out my diary, It's 420 Somewhere, Plum Crazy PURPLE!!!!
Have a good one!!
@Louder,So far nothing but good things from Canuk seeds, strong genetics,
I've had a couple go for a shit but it was user error, I cooked the roots with old soil and to many nutes.
Don't get discouraged, if you get ahold of them they'll make it right...
Later!!!
Looking beautiful man. That purple is so nice to see. Hope u grow big buds. Not training them means they don't get stress too or have to recover. Maybe they like that too haha. Im reading a lot about that topic now. Still doubting if im gonna LST my grow this year.
Happy growing buddy ππ
@Clutch,All depends on how fast the plant goes into flower.
I like to top between the 4th and 5th nodes if possible, gives the plant a chance to get a little bigger.
Laterππ..
@northernMike, all is well here. Hope the same for u buddy.
I wasn't too sure about topping autos but i have seen it now multiple times with success so I might try it out. Between which nodes do u top? 3and4 so she can bounce back before the 5th node and flowering kicks in?
Greetings ππ
@Clutch,Thanksπ, nice to see you growing again...
I usually top and train my auto's, this time I let them do their own thing.
I think the yeild will be way down compared to when you top and train your plants.
Next run will be topped and trained, I won't get the big main COLA but I'll get lots of med-lrg
sized buds.
Hope all is well!!
@Secretflower,Thanksπ..
First time growing this strain(CBD) and I wasn't sure what
to expect. It's getting really sticky and smells sort of like the Hulkberry that I grew awhile back,
very weird. I'm thinking of making a CBD topical cream out of this plant instead of just smoking it..
We'll see how much weight I get from this plant first, then I'll decide what to do with itπ...
Have a Great Day!!!
Happy Harvesting Mike π that purple looks so goodπ killer colors am I right β οΈ mine are currently hanging , and there's this incredible berry hint to it , great job as usual friend π
@Tropicannibis_Todd,Thanks very muchππ..
I would've liked to let them go a little bit longer, especially the Purple Kush.
After all that moisture in the greenhouse, I was worried about mould so I chopped them both as soon as they dried out.
Thanks for stopping by, next time I'll put the coffee onπ..
@Tropicannibis_Todd, Thanks Muchππ..
The smell that comes out of the tent is unrealπ..
If it would just warm up at night a bit I would put all three plants in the greenhouse to finish,
but it's still hanging around -1 every morning with a touch of frost.
@CroNiCGman,Thanksπ.
Ya, the tent is a 3x3' with 200 watts of light, perfect for two or three plants. Auto's seem to really like this light,
not to much power and you can keep it fairly close to the plants. The CBD is just about ready, waiting for it to dry out some more and it'll be harvest timeπ,
couple more days..
Later!!!
@Mrs_Larimar, Thanks ππ.. The E.CBD is really purple, super dark with no more white hairs growing, her time is just about up..
The Purple Kush is showing a light shade of purple coming from the inside out and getting a little darker everyday.
Still growing white hairs, the same with the Banana Kush so we have a little time before harvest, probably around 2 weeks..
Have a great day!!!
@Cyrusdavirus,Ya, the Purple Kush is going to have a huge main cola
if things keep going the way they are. Started with the Finish product this morning,
split 4L water, 1.5mL finish between all three plants. Probably 3 weeks to go..π
@Sour_D,Thanksπ,
I had to bring them back in the house because it rained and stayed around 10-15c for three days,
it was so humid in the greenhouse 90-100%. I was worried about mold forming, so back in the tent
with a fan blowing constantly and the exhaust fan running wide open. Think I'll harvest tonight or tomorrow
as soon as the pots dry out completely.
Later!!
@JamMAKEcan, Thanks very muchππ..
The Kushes still have a little time before harvest, strictly a water diet for these two.
The CBD is getting chopped as soon as it dries out one more day maybe two..
Smok'em if you got'em!!!
@northernMike, I'm happy to report @northernMike that my purplekush , is now pushing some really nice purple hues within the buds π and that the pheno is extremely similar to one I did on my NL as it's showing the very same traits , very little leaf to bud ratio , and very dense , nice stacked colas π so far canukseeds has hit the mark again .....
@Tropicannibis_Todd, ππ..The first three on each date, 21st and the 24th
is the Elixir CBD which has a real nice purple colour. The Purple Kush
is showing no signs of purple and neither is the Banana Kush,
but I'm not sure if it's supposed to or not.
That looks so good Mike killer bag appeal π, happy Harvest budπ the kushes look fantastic bud , I've just chopped my afghans and the purple will be next π
@Tropicannibis_Todd, Hey, Thanksπ..
The purple CBD looks sooo good, super dark purple with a good coating of frost.π.
The Purple and Banana Kushes will need a week or so yet, but they look and smell real goodπ
Later!!
@DrJones, Thanks Much!!
I chopped the cbd last night and hung it in the drying tent.
Now to decide what to do with this plant, just smoke it or make a topical cream for pain..
We'll see..
Have a great day!!
@@BSG420,Thanks Muchππ..
Just put them in the greenhouse today to finish off with a little bit cooler temps.
Set the inkbird at 15c for overnight, we'll see if the cooler temps bring out some nice coloursπ..
Later!!!
