Root Riot cubes a heat mat and off we go!
I know there's quite a few in the pics but we are starting some for my parents as well.
Out of 12 seeds the only one to not germ was a seedsman seed! The only seedsman seed I planted too!
These will all be grown in the great outdoors and were chosen for their shorter flowering time so that maybe I can have a mold free harvest this year.
This week we're just growing into our solo cups. Maybe in a few days I will pot up to 1 gallons and let them go just a bit before putting them outside.
This week has been good. They are growing well. I have high hopes for these ladies. Everyone has just shot up and leafed out. They are 15 days old in this pictures.
I'm feeding 1x a week so far with the soul line.
1x a week I give recharge, and 1x a week just ph water. These girls are thriving.
I will be hardening them off in the coming week. 4 of them will go to new homes and all that will be left is the 6 on the boot tray. I may flower 1 or 2 inside as opposed to outside. I'm beginning to prefer indoor grown.
I have fimmed or topped all of them. That will reflect with the next set of photos.
The girls were getting sad indoors. I up potted two and two are still in 1 gallon pots. I am contemplating flowering one of the strawberry kushbreath in the house. These ladies are just amazing!!!
These ladies have really hit the gas on growing. I know the lighting change has probably initiated flower but it will go back to veg as the days lengthen.
I am probably going to take some clones when they get just a bit bigger. These ladies have been so fun to grow.
I have 2 left of the ones I started for myself. I decided to grab a clone from the bigger of the two. I guess I'm smoking some strawberry kush breath this year.
I have had some issues with aphids and now leaf miners.
I got some Sierra natural sciences 209 and so far nothing else is eating on my plants. I've done the foliar application method and now I'm going to do a soil drench.
She very happy otherwise.
I moved her to a 10 gallon pot but, I do not think that's going to be big enough. 20G is my minimum size after this year
This week I added Dr earth. Simply because with moving I don't have the time to dedicate to mixing feeds for her.
Can't wait to move and put her in the ground.
She's been such a fun girl to grow! I'm amazed at how much abuse a plant can take and then keep on going!!!!
The easiest way to change cloth pots is to have the dirt just a bit damp, then run your hand between the cloth pot and the dirt like when your loosening a cake from a baking pan.
Then lift the plant from the stalk and have a second person tug the cloth pot just a bit and it comes right off.
Piece of cake. We went from 15 gallons to 30 and do not regret it!!
She's doing great! Just gotta keep up with Ipm.
I have been going between circadian sunrise and lost coast pest management.
Cannot wait to see this girl flower!
She's 62 inches tall and the stretch really just got started.
I've been using sns209 in her water 1x a week as well.
This has been one of the easiest pest management products to use! I have more on order now! I'm trying to add a video to this week but have had technical issues with growdiaries.
Have a great week growers! Looks like croptober will be early this year!
We just keep chugging along. She's doing great. I got a mini green house at a yard sale for not much at all.
It's keeping her dry and able to control bugs just a bit more.
