i mixed two type of soil - miracle grow for indoor potting (hardware store 7$ 20L) , and Pro Mix for tropical plants indoors (specialty store $6 5L) - both have manure as fertilizer ingredients, although close to last on the list, still lots of nitro for seedlings, next harvest I will try seed starting soil.
Rint is a few days younger but a bit taller and pale, compared to Muntz who is looking a nice healthy green hue. the all purpose has allowed for a decent stem. Muntz has about 12 flowers coming out by this time, will add tsp flower bloom in a week or so.
the plants are doing great after conversion from night time / electric light schedule and and introduced at early flower stage to day time light. all i did was in stead of lights on from 7pm-7am the last day i went from 7pm - 1am, after second feeding brought her out for a few snap shots in the living room, then out to the sun room after a few hours ready for the natural light. muntz stem has crimped a bit sort of similar to a snake, and lots of dark stripes on the stem. but standing on their own with support for safety. if i known the seaweed extract was good to relief stress i might have gotten it sooner. after about 24.4c night time temperature the closet become unhabitable, bit of problem on some of the leaves.
I also used seaweed extract, a source for potash, n-p-k 0-0-17. In my first two harvet the bud on the tree smelled like cat box for litter. Granted this is an age old description for types of pot plant. But after adding a recmoended dose the plant smells nice after that. Can add as foliage spray but not in direct light. Some describe this nutrient as a stress relief for the plant. Also I switched from GAIA Power Bloom to Canna Flores. The sweet pepper took well to the Holland based nutrient brand. As for the Jr Mintz, there is actually a hint of mint , the edible tea leaf made a very tranquile hot beverage. And when smoking the dried bud the sessation delivers both head buzz and body buzz. Great for writers and authors who want to sit comfy in their writers chair and work all day by the rainy window.
