The true leaves are coming in nicely π€π±
It's doing well & I can see small spots of mycorrhizal fungi on top of the soil so I know the roots must be loaded with them!
@Secretflower, I've had Jack Herer flower before & loved it π. I had a male that got very tall, I wonder how tall she'll get, but then again I'm training her so won't I really find out. I'm excited π€
Nice Cage set-up. I really like that approach and had been planning something parallel.
Nice idea, building support and strength into the grow from the start. Its my 2023 set-up Ms. Cheetah###
Cheers
@1Right_Angle, thanks I appreciate it ππ
Honestly I just kinda winged it waiting to see how the plants grew π Some educated guessing & visual ideas/thoughts helped me create this technique to hopefully get the shape I was wanting. I'm happy it's working π Also as time passed, I stepped back & looked with the idea in my mind of seeing another GD grower sharing pics of his plant stolen, uprooted directly from the ground. It will be a headache to try to steal these & if tried will likely kill it... Good luck thieves.
I really like this setup & I'll continue with this in future outdoor grows, especially now since I have all of the equipment π. (It wound up costing a total of one hundred & fifty dollars for everything... As of now I've made 7 cages of graduated fencing, 28 bamboo supports plus all trellis' netting & still have extra of all the stuff to make more. Cost about twenty dollars per plant if I only use it 1 time - I'll have all of this for many many seasons using it until it breaks)
It was pretty easy to set up, took about 30 minutes per plant to setup. So very helpful in training & I can easily access everything still with good main branch supports & for the future weight on the horizontally extended branches as well.
@BodhiBuds, thanks! I appreciate it ππ yes they get the dirty aquarium water as their water (freshwater aquariumπ). With so many fish in there the tank gets a water change about 2-3 times per week, for my growing techniques that's about the amount of water the plants need. It has great nutes & beneficial bacteria in the dirty water as well. I have never grown such green leaves since I've started using it a few years ago.
