Entering week 6 of flower, still some ways to go but they seem quite frosty by now. Started with microorganisms so the soil is reused in future cycles.
D41 glad N def was corrected, at least the rate of advance slowed down so they can finish nicely in a couple of weeks
Love the cabinet clean setup great job! Would you be alright with me offering some pointers based off what I see in your diary? First off, Cannabis plants LOVE heat and humidity, It is the buds that hate it. Early on in veg we can capitalize on this for more vigorous healthy growth. We can look for temps up to 79-84 MAX with lights on & no more than 9 degrees less with lights off. We do not want too big of a swing in temperature between lights on and lights off or we will encourage our plants to stretch more than we want them to. Also we can utilize humidity at this stage up to 75% in our rooms to really help maximize the plants growth. When our plants are small, Our roots are small. Cold temps will really stunt their development, especially during the night cycle as this is when plants do most of their growth. They will photosynthesize with lights on store up energy & when they go to sleep do most of their growth.
I recommend looking into vapor pressure deficit, Otherwise known as VPD. It will give you a much better understanding of how important temperature and humidity play a role in our plant development. Humidity is great early on to supplement our smaller plants root structures with some foliar intake from the leafs. But when we add in humidity we must do it right to make sure we are optimizing our VPD point. Please read this article and get used to using the chart that it has as well. Log your numbers daily!

Next, I would get yourself a thermal laser temp gun like the fluke 64 MAX & a PAR meter to better read your plant's needs and grow to them. This equipment will also help us optimize our light to plant distances. Also get yourself some sungrip light pulleys if you do not have them yet to raise & lower the light as needed. If you have any questions please feel free to follow my profile & hit me up anytime! We are currently producing a tutorial series to teach everybody to grow high quality craft cannabis the grow diary for it is live right now on my profile & also the video series of it is live on my youtube, If that interests you head over and subscribe! It is linked off my GrowDiaries main profile.
Happy growing my friend!
@electabruce420, Dehu's are for sure a must. But not always needed to be used in the rooms, We can experiment with pulling humidity out via the exhaust fan and see if it does enough if not then the dehu does the rest of the lifting. It is about utilizing all pieces of equipment so you do not have 1 thing doing all the heavy lifting and costing a ton on the power bill. Our tutorial series is focusing on all aspects of craft cannabis production right down to figuring out the cost to produce per gram & utilization of equipment most effectively. So make sure to hop over and subscribe! It is linked off my main grow diaries profile. Keep it up man! Anytime you need help just follow me and shoot me a DM.
@LegacyMarketFarm, wow thanks a lot for the write up! buds close to the light do get up to 90-95ºF, but if I put my Hygrometer in the tent floor it measures around 85-90ºF max. I will get a AC infinity fan and carbon filter, so it will help to control the temps a bit better, right now my VPD is averaging 1.2 kPa, but flows from 0,75 kPa to 1.9 kPa.
You think a dehumidifier is a must or just adjusting temps would be ok? Can airflow offset having a high humidity of 70%?
