Leeguan Using biobizz outdoor kit with light mix, which can be used inside also. Been off for one week, did not get watered and still alive.
Anyone got any tips ? does it look ok for 18 days ?
Tx
Look ok for 18 days ? Not been watered for one week due to being away, and its still alive. Now just starting to reuse water with biomix as per their chart
Leeguan Hi guys,
The issue which I think I have is that it’s low quantity of soil. I initially used a 15 litre smart pot for this, however being my first time, I did not compress it and water it. From a 15l pot, I had to cut 60% of it. Not it looks like it’s in a 5,6 litre.
Should I expect at least 10g from this now? The pictures are taken in day 28. I have looked at others pics with same strain and others look taller and healthier at this stage. Not sure, what do you guys think?
I am using biobizz outdoor kit but for inside.
Any input would be appreciated
Leeguan Week 6 now and the plant is looking healthy. USINg biobizz outdoor mix which seems to be good. PLant until now growing 10cm per week.
My smart pot is small because when I first filled it, I didn’nt compress it and from a 15 l smart pot, I ended up with about 6l. Hopefully I will get atleast 10-15grams from this, what do you guys think.
From a 15l smart pot i ended up with about 6l as it was my first time and i did not compress the soil to wait for it to lower. With this 6l pot, will i get at least 20g dry weight ?
Plant looks pretty good, grows 10cm a week, hovewer im not sure if i limited its grow a lot?
Hi @Leeguan ! I frequently do that mistake , end even if you'v got less soil than expected for the grow this is not an issue to your plant as less soil is better than no soil. When I take a look at your plant I would say she's not even in mid flowering so I thing you'r gonna get at least your 20g and maybe more (around 30/35) . Are you using a bloom nutrient ? it is the right time to do so ! I hope it will help you to make a killer grow 😁🙌
The size of the pot will definitely play a role in relation to the final plant size. As my buddy always says “the larger the roots, the larger the fruits”. But it’s not an exact science, you may get more than 20g. Hope this is helpful. Good luck!👍
Hey Leeguan I’ll leave the question open for someone else to answer but I’m here to help. I most definitely think you could get 20g maybe more depending on the density and frostiness of the buds. Regarding the soil. It doesn’t not need to be compressed and I would avoid it when planting seed straight into the pot. Once you have watered the whole pot once (for the first time) you can then add some top soil or other medium to fill the gap. When the plant is in veg it will still grow roots out of its stem. This helps when losing pot volume after watering plants in. It happens to all soil growers and happened to myself everytime I grow in soil :) no worries. Everything is looking great! Just make sure you don’t go overboard on nutrients. Feed her only what she needs that could be half of what it says on the bottle👍🏼
@Leeguan, Fair play looks like it’s doing fine. Of course you could have better but I did the same when I started out I used CFLs... learn the ropes before you jump in. As I said in a previous reply. Through something together to lift the plants off the floor up to the light.
Maybe a little table that would hold all 3 smaller plants??
