I had one failure, a "Triple g seed" that sprouted on the 9th and then died after a struggle for a couple of weeks, never got its second set of leaves. I replaced it on 4/28 with Royal Cookies, However I received my Blimburn seed of Ghost Train Haze x Pellezino. Planted on 4/30, If it sprouts quickly I will grow it instead of the Royal cookies, that will then be transferred to another grow site. All the back-ups will be as soon as the plants are 6" and healthy. I can only grow 6 here.

Week Four, May 4th: Of the six I will grow, the last one popped today. The Ghost Train Haze X Pellezino, I planted it on the 4/29, and I figured 4-5 days, today is the fifth day. It is the replacement for the triple G that failed One Month from when I initially planted, all have sprouted, except the Triple G. The Hawaiian Snow is the primary variety for this Diary, though I will record data about Growth Nutrients and feeding schedules, pests, diseases etc. of all six plants. The Hawaiian Snow is now about 4-5 inches tall. I reduced the amount of time to 15 hours under the grow lights to start to adjust to 14/10 daylight around the first of June. I'll reduce the light about a half an hour again around mid-month, it slows the growth I think, but recovers quickly after a week in the smart pots. I transplanted the Cowpot directly into the 707 medium in 1 gallon pots sightly burying part of the stem above the top of the Cowpot, it will break down and in some instants, the roots have already started to emerge through the now soggy organic cow poo pot. They all recovered quickly as they are not disturbed. I did water them in with well water with few drops of SuperThrive for the transplant shock ( https://superthrive.com/) Which works wonders on any plant you transplant. The Bruce Banner, Royal Moby and the Hawaiian snow are all the biggest at the moment, but the Pisthash and the GTH is catching up. My Buddy is going to be jacked when I bring him his four that he is growing outdoors in 65 gallon Smart pot, but only LST. He will be getting a Bruce Banner, a Royal Moby a Royal Cookies and a Sour diesel. My Brother only want to grow one, so he too will be growing the Hawaiian Snow.

Week 5 Transplanted the "cow pots" into the next size container, a 1 gallon. The 707 potting soil and "Thrive" are the only nutrients. Water is untreated well water. Short recovery and started to grow like a "Weed"

Week Nine the wire screen are all on and secure now. The Hawaiian Snow is almost to the wire, The Bruce Banner has gone through the wire, I will start HST her shortly. Bent and tied down, in the next couple of days. The Hawaiian Snow will follow within a week. The Bending technique, is Kylie Kushmans (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XdfW2p-lHN0).

All plants very healthy and growing well. I have included some pictures of HST and tucking. I keep it under the screen as much as possible . If I can not easily tuck it under I carefully use Kyle Kushman's technique for partially braking the inside cambium layer with out the damage to the outside. Carefully then twist slightly and the branch will lay down. By this ninth week, all the plants except the GTH x P reached the height of the wire, and at that time I started tucking the new growth back under and kept it there for the most part of the Veg stage. I also fertilized with for the second time with Soils Solution Top Veg

All Plants Healthy and growing well, very hot here now so increasing the water to every other day and on the super hot one I hand water. I check the plants daily and never let the soil dry out more than 4 " inches down. When the weather is cooler, I will reduce it to every three days. I have continued to fertilize every 6-8 days with The Soilscape Solutions top dressing and Pacific Organic's Northwest Ocean Gold,2 So far I have fertilized three times since June 1st the day I transplanted from 1 gallon pots to the 100 gallon Smart Pots. I have also started to defoliate the Branches, and the fan leaves. Most every thing goes before the stretch. I start early but only removing a few fan leaves at a time. I also remove any small leaves and larfy bud spots pretty much from the ground to the screen by the end of Veg stage.

The Hawaiian Snow is growing fast and spreading under the screen very nicely, super healthy. Starting to get a bit of a nice smell, especially in the evening as the days have been hot. I gave all of the plants a tablespoon of Epson salts mixed with a gallon of water and a small handful of pelleted Chicken Manure. and watered before and after as always.

Last Veg stage feeding as this is the transition week . The Hawaiian Snow, one of the Ghost train Haze and the Ghost Train Haze x Pellezino have not yet shown pre-flowering but one of the GTH is budding, I think that one may have some ruderalis as it looks about three weeks ahead of all the others. I won't mind having something fresh to smoke anyways. The Pisthash, Bruce Banner are starting to show pre-flowering and the Snow has yet to. I'm expecting it any time now, in the coming days. Continuing to defoliate the Branches and fan leaves

First week of Flowering or pre-flowering . Now all are in the pre-flower or in the case of one GTH is flowering stage . I stopped tucking at this point and put the trellis netting up, I usually have two tress netting about 8 inches and 14 inches above the screen. All Plants are now growing bud branches and are pushing up about 4-6 inches above the screen. If I get any buds are growing too fast I will use the trellis netting to tuck it so to encourage more bud spots. Also most of the Defoliating is done with just a bit to go, should be done by next week completely. I make up batches of my custom Bloom Top dress. Before spreading the top dress, I water before and after I fertilize. I make this recipe times 7 and then divide it up and use a garden fork to scrape it in. I uasually f=ertelize about every 8 to 10 days now checking for any deficiencies in the leaves and flowers and correct as necessary. Also I use IMP for my pest control as of now I do not need anything. But when I do (spider mites) I use a predator mite that hunts and eats spider mites from Beneficial Insectary https://greenmethods.com/ hytoseiulus persimilis is used for spider mite control and management. These are true killers that can’t go long without food. They’re voracious predators of most of the spider mite pest Tetranychus spp. Some of the species they impact include: the two-spotted mite T. urticae, the carmine red mite T. cinnabarinus, and the Pacific mite T. pacificus. and for Aphids Chrysoperla rufilabris is a species of green lacewing whose larvae are aggressive predators. They are primarily used for aphid and, to an extent, mealybug control, but will also feed on other soft-bodied arthropod pests including whiteflies (eggs and immature stages), some species of scale insects, and a few species of pest mites. These are my two pests with an occasional Ground Squirrel, that I have traps for.
