Really excited to be trying autos and Mephisto limited edition genetics!
Day 1: Looking good! She popped pretty fast in the warm Grow room. In a week I will transplant to a 5 gallon smart pot.
Day 2: I think this seedling crapped out...maybe I manhandled it getting the seed off the leaves but it’s not growing. So I popped another one just in case, this diary might be on hold a couple days.
Day 3: I don’t think they liked the ghetto dish setup I had for them at all. As soon as I transplanted and put under a new light I saw better growth
These guys seem to have some stunted growth from being in that shitty rock wool dish setup I had but they are making up for it now that they are in the air pots. I transplanted them into sunshine #4 because my other plants have had problems with N tox in coco loco, the only other soil mix I have...probably won’t ever be using fox farm soil again. Too expensive for what it is and it’s a pain in the ass dealing with nute probs.
Day 8: into the new grow tent tomorrow
Day 10: My Timber Grow Lights 480/500W QB came in! This thing is so sleek. I got it in 3000k which is a tiny bit orange/yellow because I plan on spending most of my time in flower with autos. But I find it works just as well for veg too, hard to notice any slower growth or anything. Since I’m in veg I might add my 2000w blurple to the mix to keep the girls happy
Doing pretty good so far, actually, has matched and surpassed most of the other Mephisto plants that started ahead of it! It has some leaf curling due to the high temp fluctuations from the room sealing.
Wow she is growing like crazy guys. Catching up and surpassing the others 5 days ahead of her. And compared to the dark devils started on the same day it’s no comparison. Going to continue to LST until she’s ready for flower.
Day 25: filled in from LST, looking good! Got a foliar feed yesterday
Probably doing the best out of all the autos I have going, have had so many issues though. I think she’s getting too many nutes and the environment might be too stagnant and cold recently. She got defoliated on the 30th and is ready to start flowering.
Day 34:
Flowering is coming along nicely now, started about 5 days ago. I’m blown away by how fast these autos are compared to the photoperiods, it’s agonizing watching how my first two strains have flowered 2 weeks and barely have pistils
These autos really barely need any nutes, I’ve been overdoing it and so they are n toxic. I wish I could give them more light, waiting on new ones delivery.
Looking pretty darn good. I’d say this girl is about average in the pack we have going right now. I say that because some have frosty dense buds and others are still working on getting there.
I trimmed out some leaves but it seems like they are entering the phase where they are mostly packing on flowers which is good. I’m stillness wary about starting flower nutes and getting burn.
I added mammoth microbes to the mix after hearing great things, still wish they would have approved my request for a sample but I’m not so butthurt I don’t want the boost in buds.
I think this seedling crapped out...maybe I manhandled it getting the seed off the leaves but it’s not growing. So I popped another one just in case, this diary might be on hold a couple days.
@LumberjackBuds, probably that’s it yes! I doubt they will recover if it’s too bad lose the leaf especially if it’s growing a healthy branch with leaves ready to take over. Otherwise from the pic I saw wasn’t too bad at all. Don’t know if it’s progressed since of course :)
@PharmaZ, I had neglected to water them enough for a few weeks then I hit them with it hard. Could that do it too? But yeah I agree, underwatering and possibly wind/light burn + humid
Where the part between veins look sucked in. It looks like slight under watering. Although yes it could be through too much transpiration from heat light/exposure it does look like the colapsed part is from lack of water
@PharmaZ, do the leaves look better after recovering or are they gonna look ugly like this for the rest of the Grow lol? Slightly crispy edges and flimsy interiors
