This will be my first attempted indoor grow from start to finish and I'm expecting a few lessons along the way. I have grown outdoors a few times, but I'm still a rookie in the garden. Let's see how it goes!
Here's what happened this week:
I planted the jiffy pellet into a 15cm pot when I saw roots making their way out the bottom. The pot is filled with some soil and a small amount of mycorrhizal fungi layered towards the bottom.
I gave it clean water the day after planting it and haven't fed anything since.
So far, so good 🌱💪
Week 2 veg showed some pretty good growth. I fed it some Activera early in the week, as one of the things that can help strengthen it's immune system. I might top it soon and get started on shaping the plant.
It got some Activera and Silica early on in the week, and later on just Activera. I'm focusing on health right now in the early stages, but it's about to get a nice nutrient boost when I transplant it sometime in the next few days.
I also topped the plant quite early in the week. It recovered really quickly and I'm seeing some good growth thanks to that and some leaf tucking I've been doing.
Happy growing 🌱
The week started off with some pH fluctuation issues, mostly because of the silica I had added previously.
I also transplanted it this week, with training and defoliation following shortly after that.
I wasn't paying full attention while training, and ripped one of the mains off by accident 😬 I'm not too bothered though, I trained it to still have 4 mains which will all be topped soon.
The tent is starting to smell just a little now, which is fantastic.
Happy growing 🌱
I did some training and defoliation this week.
I also struggled with some humidity issues and had no power for most of the final day of week 5 veg, which still didn't seem to affect the growth too badly.
Nothing fed this week, it's still "fitting into" it's new pot.
So far so good!

This was a pretty chilled week, with mostly some low stress training and defoliation.
The tent has a nice smell when I open it and the plant has taken well to training, so far so good 💪

This week saw some pretty good growth, especially after I fed it.
I've trained and removed a few leaves here and there over the week, but I have left it alone for the most part.
We've been having some power cuts around here, sometimes up to 12hrs a day so I've been using portable camping lights to hopefully stop the plant from flowering, but I'm probably gonna flip to flower soon anyway.
Happy growing 🌱
It's been plain sailing this week, with mostly just LST and defoliation here and there.
I've been tucking leaves and letting lower branches grow a bit to see which ones in going to keep or not 🤔
I'm planning on flipping to flower in the next week, so I'll have to get a good handle on keeping the stretch down to a minimum 🤞
Happy growing 🌱
I gave this one a nice boost with some nutrients I found that are packed with nitrogen, just in time for the stretch phase.
Besides that, it's just been mostly lst and some defoliation. I'm a bit concerned that I might run into some issues down the line with humidity, so I'll have to take that step by step

I used this week to clean things up a bit. I defoliated twice, removing all lower branches, leaves, and new growth on nodes that weren't getting any light.
This is the second week since I changed the light cycle to 12/12, so I added some bloom nutrients into the mix to boost flower development.
Happy growing 🌱
I pretty much left the plant alone this week, just letting her grow and do her thing. I fed another round of nutrients, increasing the dose slightly from last week.
The stacking is starting to look fantastic 👀
Happy growing 🌱
This week started off with an aggressive round of defoliation and clean up to let more light and air through the canopy. So far so good 💪
Not much was done, other than a weekly feeding.
Happy growing 🌱
The stacking is taking shape and the sugar is starting to coat the leaves.
I did a final round of heavy defoliation with removing all lower branches that were preventing good airflow and light penetration. From here on I'll just take a few leaves off here and there, whenever I see the need.
So far so good 💪

It's the beginning of another week and things are going well. I'm seeing a lot more trichomes popping up and the plant is taking well to nutrients.
I just picked a few leaves off here and there to help with light and airflow. The smell is starting to raise its volume a bit as well, with a strong lemon influence, so I'm not complaining at all 😎
Happy growing 🌱
Another week of leaving it alone up ahead, other than a tiny bit of defoliation where necessary. I'm sticking with the same amount of nutrients as last week, except for microbes, which I will use again in about two weeks.
Other than that, I'm trying to limit the amount of times I stick my face in my tent to take some deep breaths in 👀👀
Happy growing 🌱
I started this week off with some LST to open the branches up and get them from crowding around each other too much. The buds are putting on mass and the smell is getting stronger 💪
Happy growing 🌱
Flowering is going well and it won't be too long before these buds are hanging upside down 💪 the buds are looking dense and the trichomes are still mixed between all types.
Happy growing 🌱
I've given it what I think will be it's last feeding until harvest, I'll only use clean water from now.
The plant smells great, and the trichomes are transitioning mostly into the cloudy state now, so about a week or two left 🤞🤞
Happy growing 🌱
Update: I cut this one early because of the power cuts, one day after this week began.
-----
It's getting close, I'll be harvesting this one any day now. I've stopped giving it nutrients and have been slightly adjusting buds further away from each other here and there.
I have to take it out the tent three times a day when the power gets cut, so I'll be washing the buds before I hang them up, you can see cat hair in some of the close up shots 🐈
I'm also getting things ready for outdoor season now, unfortunately I had a 3 pack of seeds that failed to germinate, so I have another two that have just popped up as a replacement for them, along with the 3 seedlings in one of the photos.
Happy growing 🌱
Unfortunately I had to harvest a bit earlier than I wanted to, the power has been going off for long periods of time and I couldn't risk the mildew and bud rot any more.
So I washed the buds with h202, rinsing with lukewarm water and then cold water, before hanging them back up in the tent which I cleaned while they were drying after the wash.
This plant took a bit of a beating in its early stages, and survived some heavy swings in environmental conditions. And to harvest above 70g is a win for me, considering this is my first indoor grow from start to finish.
That's it for this diary, thanks for the support and warm welcome 💪
