Sowed seeds in soil last night and watered in Rootwise Mycrobe for germination to try something new. Planted in solo cups and stacked with an additional transparent cup to serve as a dome and popsicle sticks to secure the dome. Leaving in dark for 48hrs and then will add light. Also using a heat mat this time to see if it helps start stronger roots. Will check back when they sprout.
*05/08/2022 EDIT: Sprouted after 3.5 days, seems healthy.
Bottom watered once during week 1 to try to encourage the roots to grow deeper and misted top surface. Everything appears healthy. I will continue to post updates on the last day of each grow week.
Switched out my light to the HLG 100 V2 4000K this past week. Just letting the plants do as they do. Drenched with Rootwise Mycrobe earlier in the week and watered again tonight.
Over the course of the week, I removed the cotyledons and the first nodes and one fan leaf. I plan on mainlining this run and instead of chopping off all the growth when I do the first topping, I figured I would slowly prep each plant to reduce stress and spend less energy on parts of plants that are being removed.
I lifted the soil block from the cup to pull the roots back into the cup that grew thru the drainage holes.

It's middle of week 4. Yesterday, I cut off the the remaining fan leaf at first node on each plant. Today, plants received their first tea brewed from Buildasoil's Craft Nutrient Blend. No changes in vertical growth since previous entry, however looks like some leaf growth and lots of action going on with the roots.

Topped at 4th node
Tied down branches a couple days after transplanting. It's been tricky keeping inside temperature above 75°F due to air conditioning cooling the house from the 100°+ heat wave outside. Taking lower temps instead of high humidity for now.
I am finally back with an update after weeks of nothing. I promise you didn't miss much other than transplanting from 2gal pots to 7gal, defoliation, and watering in the only 3 products I am currently running which is Rootwise Mycrobe, Fish Shit, and Build-A-Soil's Craft Nutrient Blend. I also moved into my main 5'x5' tent which has the HLG600 set at about 65-75% power. Yesterday, I added the trellis and fed BAS craft tea that was brewed for 24hrs prior. I am not sure when I will flip my lights, but will give at least another week, if not more.
This week there has been a lot of growth since applying the first trellis. I fed Rootwise Mycrobe and BAS Craft Blend in teas applied a few days apart. I also did some light defoliation. This cycle I have been trying to strategically defoliate and will do more of it as they stretch. And I am excited to say that today is the last day of veg.
I forgot to log week 14, but during that week I fed teas with SEA90 @ 1tsp/gal, Langbeinite @ 2tsp/gal, Crustacean Meal @ 2tsp/gal, and FishSh!t @ 0.30tsp/gal.
This week I fed craft blend tea 2x and one day of water only. I typically water/feed 0.375-0.50 gal every other day.
Over the last 2 weeks, I have done extensive defoliation, taking off a little bit each day.
She's looking healthy and happy.
Added a small floor fan tonight to circulate air towards the back of the tent.
No new vertical growth which is great because I don't like getting sticky arms reaching through the branches. Buds are looking good so far and the garden is starting to smell more.
This plant is ultra dense and was an excellent variety to mainline. Might be my frostiest plant, but a couple days ago I spotted some nanners which meant it was time to harvest. This is a first for me, but chalking it up to genetics because it's the only plant experiencing this. In the dark for the next 24hr before harvest. Will update with yields after drying.
