Got the seed from a friend who dropped by last week forgot when I planted it, but I guess someten day ago, in a black 12 liter bucket with some dried cow-and chicken manure mixed through the bottom part, to have the top part not too rich because I heard that soil should not be rich for the seedling. Tomorrow I will give more dung, and introduce worms. When I started worrying that this method was not right, this morning I took a look, and there was this tiny heap of sand pushed up by the seed, now at midnight the plant is above the soil. Allways a happy moment, because I worry too much, when the plant is above the ground you can see her grow and check her health, but during germination you see nothing and you can only wait.
On the other side I have just planted a seed that i had germinated in a glass of water, that is a bit scary too. So I think I will stick to the drirect in substrate method, feels more natural, and no handling of very fragile seedlings.
