Looks like your girls are getting leggy like mine. Take a look at my pics from my 2nd grow, week 2, to see how you can support them a little until they get their roots set in. I use a bread tie and poke it into the rockwool (not too far, so you don't cut the existing roots).
@BeefWellingtons, yes they're grow tall faster than they're getting wide down the stemp, but I still have plenty of room in the netpots to fill and top it with more pebbles to stabilize them, I think I'll be doing that tomorrow, either way, I wanted to see how the behave in the early stages and see how the naturally grow towards the light even when the bent a bit, I was thinking about doing some support similar to yours, but I don't want to stress them that much so early by handling them, hopefully the pebbles will do the work
Hey tgs420 looking good for your 1st go at cultivating cannabis. Being a Recirculating Deep Water 💦 Culture cultivator myself the only advice that I give to first time DWC or RDWC cultivators is to feed at a fraction of what the nutrient labels 🏷️ say and don’t over correct your ph. The direct access that the roots have to a constant bath of aerated nutrients means you can feed at much lower strength. My current garden is 4 weeks into Veg and I am around 480 ppm. During Flower it is rare that I get to 700 ppm because it is usually not necessary. Also, by allowing your ph to drift you allow the plant to uptake the individual elements necessary for growth at the ph where they are most available to the plant. I will drop my ph to 5.6/5.7 and let it rise to 6.3/6.4 before I drop it back down again. I post bi-weekly updates to my YouTube channel. Check it out if you get a chance.
