For whatever reason this girl seems to be the strangler of the group in terms of ripening. Not that I'm in a rush or anything. Just observing. In any event I'm going to schedule pulling the plug on her in about a week - after I finish harvesting Acapulco Gold #2 which is probably 3 or 4 days. This intense heat wave we've been in has advanced the ripening process IMO. Just making sure to keep the girls hydrated and in this case under an umbrella for the worst part of the heat wave.
