Soaked in glass of water for 24 hours, then dropped directly into soil. EDIT: This journal has been updated. I had a seed that I'd germinated in paper towel, that had rapid growth with a really long taproot right out the gate. However, it died upon transfer. This time I went back to just soaking a seed in a shot glass for 24 hours, then pouring the shot glass and seed directly into the soil about 1/4" and lightly cover. Within a few days, we broke ground on 5/17.
