OK. First post. Got the tent set up two weeks ago. Mixed up my super soil mix (FFOF, Compost, Perlite, 4-8-4, and dolomite) via Cali green. Started soaking seeds...dam they all popped. 4 seeds cracked...put them in my manure based cups, and three went on to never pop. Have PH soil tester, and PH water...what the hell. Went for another round of germinations..think it was the ILGM seeds. Did some GSC from ILGM, Froot the foot from atlas, and went for some 420 seeds Blue Haze auto 2.0. two for two on the GSC..one out of 5 for the Blue Haze, and froot bee soil a few days ago. First attempt was paper towel in a baggy. then moved on to soaking seeds till they cracked, then paper towel with mycorisia putting them on top of the LED to get temps in the 80s. Now putting them in a crown royal bag on the LED for darkness. Hoping my gummy bears (3ea) all come up and I will halt the seedlings for a month or so. Plan on trying to get a continuous Auto grow going till September. Recap: Currently the Bruce Banner auto from the first run is on its 5th node (day 17), and topped. The GSC (day 12) will be topped this week...The one blue haze and one Froot the foot (day 5) are are seedlings...have three Gummy bear from atlas that cracked and are in soil waiting for them to breach. Hard time getting going...I think the soil might be too hot for the seedlings. Other than the blue auto seeds have cracked with a tail, but not made it out the soil. Meanwhile loaded the 4x4 with some basil plants, and growing peppers from seeds. Plan to follow Caligreen organic method via Youtube. Have added liquid seaweed to my water, and will be adding Molasses. Also he makes a tea from worm castings and compost...not there yet.

Bought a second BP 3000 LED. It is throwing some heat, so I took off the ballast and put them on top of the tent with the exhaust fan...still running hot. But the plants are loving it. Humidity is solid around 60, although shoots way up when the lights go off. Still working on the set up, but it is pretty much running on its own...Humidty via the ink bird, exhaust running on 1, and the lights on 19/5. Bought a couple of clones just to see how they grow. they are Photos, so will have to figure that out with all my autos. Worst case I put some outside and let it ride. I transplanted everything into 3 Gal fabric pots, adn they are on rolling treys making moving them easy. Moved my fogger over so I can use that access if needed. Bruce banner is bing LSTd, and has been topped twice...looks super healthy and is rocking out the veg. Stem got super thick after the topping. GSC I topped as well....will be giving them the LST treatment this coming week. PH 5.9 for the water. only giving light liquid seaweed in the water....it is mostly RO water

Oldest plant is 26 days old. You can see the topping, and LST of the largest plant. These are Autos...so I might be stunting them, but hell they are mine. My Bruce Banner is the oldest. She has been topped twice...and then LST to draw out the plant. She is showing a calyx, so I probably sent her into to flower....but it is a 70 day grow...36 days to go. She is only about 6" tall, but I have been puller over to the sides. I am going to not topped any more, just control her growth. The GSC extremes autos are right behind her with 16 days. Those also have been topped twice....no calyx as yet. Will just LST her into a canopy. Then I have a Froot by the foot which is reaching its 5th node. I am going to just let her go. Now the two clones which are photos seem to be past the transplant shock. Have them bonziad over. Will be topping those girls eventually. They are Gelato, and blueberry. Will change the light cycle based on what happens with the Autos, and the size of these things. It was very slow going from seed, but now I am seeing daily growth...like a node a day. I have some stretch going on. So might lower the lights, but I have like 600W of lighting...they cannot be in need of lights. I have a CO generator will be putting that into play in the next few weeks. Gave them 2 gallons of water combined with liquid seaweed, and Molasses as a tea. Have not fed them anything really...just RO water. Will be making some organic tea (worm castings, compost, seaweed, and molasses) next week. Edit: new to a 4x4 I am trying to get the right conditions ie VPD of 1.00. I moved the fogger over to shut off with the light timer. I have the Mendel down at the plant level...when the lights shut off the humidity shot way up. I ordered the Infinity fan controller 69 so I can have the fan go on when H skyrockets. The last 48 hours I have been able to manage 1.2-.80 VPD in a steady state.

Things are bursting. GSC, and BB are 12" tall, and that is being tied down. Starting in with small amounts of Liquid Seaweed, Cal mag, and Molasses. Watering every other day. Just using the pick up the pot method for watering. Probably should start a watering log. The autos are all flowering...they are about halfway according to the info. 70 days. I bonziad the two photo clones I bought...and they are booming. I defoliated a little to get the branches going. Will flower them in 40 days...I am thinking they will be huge. By the end of the week the GSC is 18"

Have only given RO, liquid seaweed, molasses, and some cal mag. all very sparingly. Trying to dial in heat issues. RH is high to keep VPD in check. Buds are forming pretty well. Had one plant go male on me...it was the runt blue haze. Moved one light up as the GSC is stretching. She is growing a lot. Bruce Banner was looking sad...I think over watering. I let it dry out completely. then gave it a full soaking with some cal mag. Had one leaf show signs of Mag deficiency...but other than that just having normal die off from the bottom. Have been LSTing and timing fan leaves to expose flowers on all the plants. I think I will top dress the soil with some worm castings. Soil has been 6.8-7.0, water 5.8

Looks like the autos are in full flowering. Oldest is 41 days today. One of the GSC has done a full stretch and grew 2" in several days. Still struggling with Temp and Humidity. I have a Mendel and just cannot get the VPD down. I have 2 300W LEDs, and have been throttling them back. Room is 76F and cannot get any cooler. Going to set up a CO generator today. Have no way of measuring it, but I have the dam thing so hell it can't hurt. I have two photo clones I bought. They are little topped and LSTd bushes right now. Will go to flower in a few weeks as we will be out of town for a few weeks, and do not have anyone to manage them. Growing is a be home commitment. I put Bruce outside for a few hours in the sun as it has always appeared over watered. Trying to let it dry out more, but I think it might have some root damage. Plants have been getting RO water PH 5.8 and lately with a dash of Seaweed, Cal Mag, and Molasses. Brewing my first tea: 1 Tablespoon/Gal Seaweed, Cal Mag, and Molasses, then tea bags of cow manure, and worm castings. By the end of this week I started to see yellowing leaves on the bottom. Some classic signs of deficiencies. I started the bloom formula and the plants have really loved it. Everything is green and buds are coming on strong. Now Froot by the foot is the only one really showing a frosty buds. End of the week update. I put in some bloom with the feed, and then the next day top dressed with 4-8-4 and worm castings. I think the yellowing has stopped. Certainly slowed down. GSC is now 25". Lifted the lights as the heat is killing me. See the tips burn on GSCs a little which is Nute burn? or maybe heat. Still have a tea of Liquid seaweed, molasses, and cal mag brewing. Will add light bloom and feed when the plants are lite. The two veg clones I have going are spread beyond the 3 gal pot. Plan is to harvest the Autos, then transplant these into 5 gal pots, get the net set up and flower them maybe in August. Did my first clones into a propagator. Going to give those away, and keep running clones.

I have been battling heat in the tent and a high VPD. This caused yellowing, which I thought was Nutes, but was over transpiration. I took the drivers off my LED, and added an extension cord so I could put them outside the tent. I am running two BP3000 (300W) and turning them down so it gets coverage all over the tent. Have a CO sensor coming, and already have a CO generator ready to go. Pictures will be uploaded on next watering, as I am going to pull each one out and inspect for Nanners. Bruce banner is the oldest here at 61 days, GSCE is 56, Froot 42 days, and Gummies are 40ish days. I flushed for the first time in this grow. Had crazy PPM. flushed down to less than 1K, then added in on cup of feed at 2.5K PPM. will flush again next week and see what the run off is. PH was SAT, but PPM was through the roof. First time flushing in 60 days, so not surprising. This indoor grow is a lot of work. I agree with Joe...planting in a forest preserve and coming back in month is pretty low maintenance. Flushed with 6.5PH RO water. Had 4.5K PPM. flushed down to under 1K PPM, then added 12 oz of 2600PPM feed. Will be down to complete flush in a few weeks. Seeing some pretty good yellowing which I am calling fade after the flush and feed.

Reaching the home stretch. Waiting one more week for the first chop really due to a house guest. Bought a wine fridge and have an ink bird wet up to a fogger inside the fridge. Going for a 55F and 60RH. Might have too much to hang, so looking at a fridge dry for one of the girls. Checked the microscope a few days ago and tricomes are cloudy for the most part on the three oldest girls, with a few ambers. Got the Temps under control, but the fogger broke...bought a new one and they are just junk. Watering in the vegetables to keep RH up. I live in Az so outside is 12%...inside room about 30%, Tent about 50%...so Just waiting a few weeks for harvest time. Went to just RO water on the three older ones thinking they are a week from the chopping block....But haven't really looked at the tricomes on the other two. Right now Bruce Banner my oldest is 70 Days today. GSCs are 65D. Froot is 56D and has just been a furry monster from first flower. The last two I planted in pot for whet the hell are Gummy bears and they are 52 days. Have two clones in Veg in the tent and will flip them in a few weeks, or maybe move them outside. I most likely will not be able to take care of them to the finish....

Was a little busy and the plants got under watered...plus not sure if its fade or a problem. Just letting them mature off at this point. Harvested one plant and she is in the wine fridge doing a 55F 60rh dry. The other Girl scout cookie fell over, and I had to prop her up to the tent pole. She should be hanging by the end of the week.

I did not top this Auto, just let her grow. Probably not the largest yield for the strain, but it it was frosty from the first flower. Smells great. She is in the wine cooler for drying. Will update how much dry weight in a few weeks.

Happy Growing, Buddy! 🌱🌱🌱

Hey there friend looking at your diary, Would you be alright with me offering some pointers? So cannabis plants LOVE heat and humidity. It is the buds that hate it. In veg we want to take advantage of this fact to help our plants grow along much quicker and more vigorously. In veg we can look for temps of 79-84 MAX with lights on & no more than 9 degrees less with lights off. If we allow for too much temperature swing between lights on and lights off while the plant is still growing vertically up to day 20 of flower, We will cause the plant to stretch ALOT which we do not want. So in veg & early flower, Keeping our temperature gaps nice and close between lights on and off is key. Utilizing humidity in our rooms during veg will also help out a lot with more rapid growth but we must introduce it properly. In our rooms we have our temperature and humidity set-points, But when we combine those 2 it forms a third set-point which is the most important & that is called VPD, Vapor pressure deficit. I strongly recommend every new grower or old grower who has not learned it yet, To study and understand it & implement it into your room, Logging your numbers daily. https://cerescann.com/importance-of-measuring-vpd/ For soil, We generally want to go for a PH of 6.1. This website does a GREAT job of illustrating it with a nice graph & very good detailed explanation for soil. https://autoflowerseedshop.com/cannabis-ph-chart-guide/ As we briefly touched on before, During veg & early flower we want our temperature gap's nice and tight to avoid stretch. Why exactly our plants stretch in response to this is a genetic trigger being activated by the environmental stress essentially telling the plant the end of the season is closer than it really is. In veg & early flower the plant is still in its first stage of development which is to grow up wide and tall so when it produces seed, It can cast them out nicely. Remember, Whether we are growing our plants for seed or bud their genetic responses do not change as they gh sidedo not know any different. Once the plant has finished that first stage of growth by weeks 4-6 of flower with most strains, It is by day 20 of flower. Autoflowers you have to watch for it, But once the plant has finished this goal its new mission is to focus 100% on producing nice big flower clusters & to get very sticky so it can attract pollen to it successfully. So once that vertical growth is finished, We actually now want to begin to expose our plants to larger temperature swings between lights on and lights off. This will help activate that genetic response and allow us to draw out the most potential from the strain utilizing the plants genetic triggers to environmental stresses at the right times. We can also take this a step further with doing light deprivation in the last 2 weeks using less light to simulate cloud cover. Very cold feed temps on the last flush is very good too. If you do not have them already, Get yourself a good PAR meter & thermal laser temp gun to monitor your plant top temperatures & optimize how much light your plants are getting. We are currently in the middle of producing a very comprehensive tutorial series for everybody to learn from & understand how to grow the highest level craft cannabis all on their own. If this interests you please check out our youtube and subscribe. The first 2 episodes are out the next one is coming in a few days. If you should ever have any questions or need any help, Please feel free to follow my profile and shoot me a DM. I will gladly help you with the pull down & make sure you get the best quality harvest possible as it is the most important step of the entire process. Good luck my friend!

@LegacyMarketFarm, Thanks for the info. just saw this today...will check out the links. Always learning. My soil Ph is 6.8, have been watering in at 6.0-64 to compensate. Not sure how to change the PH in soil. Had heat issues, and finally got that under control, but had some days in the 90s. Looks like I have passed up the stretch, and headed for some bulk. I changed the fans out as they were dying, so Now the plants are a bit stronger to hold up the buds.
