This week, the first big mistake took its effect. The nettles being nettles completely outgrew the weed and turned the clearing in to a Sea of Green,
but then sadly of nettles. Because of this the plants got almost no light, the humidity rose, and snails started eating the plants.
Some of the plants were attacked so heavily they died. Of the 43 plants we planted, only about 28 remained because of the nettles.
At least we learned out lessen and decided to cut them all down, and keep doing that througout the entire summer.
Because the plants had to compete for sunlight, they also started growing very tall and skinny instead of bushy.
More updates are coming!
Really sad bro, after all the care ๐
I know what that feels like! I had an entire grow eaten by cows some years ago, now i look back @ that with a smile on my face..
Next time consider topping the plants in it's early veg, that way you end up with a sturdier, bushier plants. That will probably solve your problem of plants bending under their weight.
I would do the topping the day you transplant them to your outdoor spot, that way its also easier to transport the ladies..
Good luck ๐
I hate seeing this ๐ณ brings back memories of when I used to grow out in the woods, it sucks to hike all the way in just to find something bad happened ๐ animals people and the weather can ruin a whole year
