The previous GreenCrack sadly died off, so I ordered another round: 1 LSD25, 1 GorillaGlue, 1 TangieMatic, and got 2 gift GreenCrack. I started germinating them the same way (soaking 24 hrs and then put them in wet paper towels) but after 5!!! days only 3 hatched out of the 5 seeds.
Planted the sedlings and later on (after 1 week) the 3rd one died too, she had absolutely no roots.
I'm not happy with the quality of the seeds at all.
I did not take pictures in the first week so I continue this diary like a new one. Sorry for the bad english.
The diary is about the GreenCrack but I take pictures of the GorillaGlue too, where they both in the same pic.
I planted the girls the same day, the conditions are the same but the GG is a bit smaller.
Brown spots began to appear on both of them. The stems of the leaves seem "soft" and weak. It's like the leaves at any moment could fall. I dont know why :( Maybe too much nutrients?
Day 36 - GreenCrack is growing nicely and seems healthy aside from the bug bites. She grew 22 cm in the last 7 days. However the GorillaGlue is only half the size of the GC. The conditions are the same, maybe she is not an outdoor strain.
Day 50 is actually day 49 but I will not be there for a whole week because of a road trip.
She has absolutely no smell which is weird but she looks healthy to me.
I am curious how much she will grow and change in a week.
I chopped her down after 90 days and let her dry for 2 weeks. She ended up being a hermie?. Nowhere in the near was a single male plant, so I dont really understand. The outcome was really weak, the buds are very loose and full of seeds. I picked out more than 200 seeds from all that 14g of buds.
Smells like herb and diesel. Feels like 60-40 sativa-indica to me.
Maybe she is not an outdoor type of plant or just weak genes idk, but I'm really disappointed.
I'm happy even for this small amount of outcome. It's still better than nothing, but next year I'll pick a strain that's more suitable for outdoor grow.
Hey, just wanted to say good luck and maybe give a few observations :). I think you might be overwatering a little bit or the soil you are using is a little too nutrient rich. I say that because the leaves are a little yellow and very droopy. Maybe try to water a little less and dont use nutrients quite yet. Hope it goes well!!
@RealDreary, Hey, thanks for the advices! :) The soil is indeed nutrient rich, but I only give her tap water. It was her first day, now she is all green and seems healthy. :)
That sucks man. Could of turned if you had low temps... And a male can ruin crops miles away if outdoor and let's off pollen.. One of the problems with outdoor I'm afraid.. better luck next time.
