I LIKE TO PLANT DIRECTLY IN SOIL. LESS I HANDLE THE BEANS THE BETTER. KEEP IT SIMPLE. SHOULD HAVE STARTED EARLIER THIS MONTH. BUT THE NIGHTS WERE STILL GETTING BELOW 60S, SO I WAS WAITING. THESE SHOULD BE DONE 8-10 WEEKS ANYWAY. SO BY EARLY AUG SHOULD BE DONE, WHICH IS STILL FULL SUN. 1/2 LST, 1/2 NO TRAINING. I'VE GROWN PLENTY OUTDOORS AND AUTOS ARE THE EASIEST. IF YOU LIVE IN SOCAL GET A PACK OF FASTBUDS AND START GROWING YOUR OWN OUTDOORS. HARVEST THE SUN. JUST NEED A 3-5 GAL POT, ORGANIC SOIL AND WATER. NOTHING FANCY.
Area only has partial sun. Need to move to full sun. For now. Judging from the leaves. Gonna be a normal grow. Nothing odd. So far only 4 sprouted. But I’m sure other 1 just taking their time. Just have to wait.
LOOKS GOOD. GROWING STEAD. ONE OF THE BEANS SPROUTED 1 WEEK BEHIND.
REMAINING 4 SIMILAR SIZES. NO MUTATED OR SHRIVELED FAN LEAVES. SINCE OUTDOORS. IM NOT GONNA TRAIN TOO MUCH THIS TIME. SINCE THE SUN WILL HIT IT FROM ALL DIRECTIONS. LET'S KEEP HANDS OFF AND SEE HOW IT GROWS.
GROWING KINDA LAGGING BEHIND. 5 OUT OF 5 SPROUTED OUTDOOR. NOW THATS A GOOD RESULT. USUALLY SPROUTING OUTDOORS IS DIFFICULT B/C CHANGES IN DAY/NIGHT TEMP IS BIG AND HUMIDITY IS LOW. PLUS NEED TO KEEP THE SOIL MOIST IS DIFFICULT OUTDOOR B/C THE SUN TEND TO TRY UP THE TOP 1/2" OF SOIL. I DO HAVE 1 STRAGLER STRUGGLING TO GROW. HOPEFULLY, SHE WILL CATCH UP. NOT GONNA TRAIN THESE. I WANT TO SEE HOW TALL THEY WILL GROW W/O TRAINING. WILL IT REALLY REACH OVER 1M FOR ME?
VERY BIG VARIATION BETWEEN BEANS. ONE IS SUPER AHEAD THE OTHER IS SUPER BEHIND. BUT ATLEAST ALL 5 SPROUTED. THATS NOT BAD. I MIGHT JUST HAVE TO LST. SO FAR JUST BEEN SPRAYING WATER DAILY AT SUNRISE. NOTHING ELSE. IM A SOIL GROWER. THESE ARE ALL REUSED SOIL. ADDED DRY AMENDMENTS AND HOME-MADE WORM CASTINGS AND EGG SHELLS. 3-4 GAL POTS. NOTHING HUGE. BUT I KNOW THEY NEED MORE SUN. THATS FOR SURE. THEY ARE NOT IN THE BEST LOCATIONS. BUT I HAVE LOTS OF FRUIT TREES IN BACK YARD. DIFFICULT TO FIND A GOOD FULL SUN SPOT.
not been a good grow. but it's ok. all part of learning process. i think the soil i used this time is not good. but one of the gals died. she sprouted late and slow growth and just never bounced back. probably overwatered as well. im not sure. but its ok. 2 of the gals doing well. another 2 just kinda slow.
this grow has not been good. but its ok. all part of the process. leaves are not as green as i liked. i see leaf edges burned. so most likely just too much nute in soil? i did lost one. but its ok. she didn't do well from the beginning. maybe soil was just too hot and heavy?
NOT REALLY WELL GROWN BY ME. UNFORTUNATELY. I'LL JUST DO AUTOS INDOORS FROM NOW ON IF I CAN. OR ELSE JUST WASTING BEANS. I GET BETTER RESULTS GROWING AUTOS INDOORS. PERHAPS JUST SOIL NOT GOOD OR WATER INCONSISTANT B/C VARIANT DAY TIME TEMP THROUGH OUT THE MONTH. OR I JUST NEED TO LEARN BETTER TO GROW AUTOS OUTDOORS. SHOULDN'T BLAME EVERY OTHER VARIABLE. HONESTLY.

I TEND TO VEG PHOTOS OUTDOORS THEN BRING INSIDE TO FLOWER. SAVE MORE ENERGY. BUT THE PROBLEM IS JUST BRING PEST INSIDE THE TENT.
ALWAYS SOMETHING TO BATTLE. MORE I DO THE MORE I LEARN. STILL FAR FROM FINISH. NOT A GOOD HARVEST THIS TIME.
I'LL SAVE THE REST AUTOS INDOORS NEXT TIME.
If ur PH is really 7 u should try to lower it to anywhere between 6 and 6,5. Do a flush with 6,5 ph water untill the run off water says the same number. Let her dry out for a few days after that and then give water with a tiny bit of nutrients. She can still bounce back 🙂
