Stella’s Trio

6/25/22 Stella’s Cuatro continue to grow and get taller. It’s quite unsettling at how fast they are stretching! Almost scary! #1 has grown 6.5 inches in the last 2 days! #2 has grown 5 inches, #3 has grown 5 inches, and #4 has grown 4 inches. IN JUST 2 DAYS!! #1 is now 33 inches tall, #2 is 35 inches, #3 is 29 inches, and #4 is 28 inches. Their mother stopped stretching at 50 inches tall, but I hope that they don’t get anywhere near that tall! They each received 1/2 gallon of water mixed with the following nutrients: CALiMAGic - 2 ml FloraMicro - 5.7 ml FloraGro - 6.6 ml FloraBloom - 6.6 ml Floralicious Plus - 2 ml Liquid KoolBloom - 1 ml I mixed two separate gallons so that each plant can get 1/2 gallon. Both were mixed with the same nutrients, and both had an initial pH of 6.3, and did not need adjusting. Each plant had plenty of runoff, and their pH levels were as follows: #1, 3, & 4 - 6.0 #2 was 6.2. The tent was 84.4F, and humidity was 45%. Each plant is looking wonderful, although big (again, smh). Very nice branch spacing and development. I may not need to grow any more DarkStar for a while after all my current plants are harvested which is fine with me! Happy growing everyone! 6/29/22 Hello everyone 👋! I know it’s been a while, but like I’ve said in the past; sometimes life gets in the way. I have been so afraid for my girls these past 4 days. Yes, they had not been fed in 4 days! You know how they did while being deprived of sustenance for 4 long days? They grew!! OMFG! I made a point of writing about their stretch in my last note because it was so worth mentioning. But 😱! #1 grew 10 inches and is now 43 inches tall. #2 grew 7.5 inches and is now 42.5 inches tall. #3 grew 7.5 inches and is now 36.5 inches tall. #4 grew 9 inches and is now 37 inches tall. They did all that without a drop of anything in 4 days. The stretch is for real!! I mixed them a pair of gallons to share between the four of them using the early bloom step 2 nutrients. Before I list them below, I wanted to make note of a mistake I made when mixing their solutions. When I was adding the Floralicious Plus to each of the gallons, I needed to add 2 ml’s to each of the 4 separate gallons I was mixing for 3 separate diaries. Anyway, I was using one syringe to administer the nutrients to each of the plants at the same time instead of 4 separate times. I filled the 10 ml syringe with 8 ml’s of the solution to give each gallon 2 ml’s. My hand went heavy on the first gallon for my girls here. So, #1 & #2 received 4 ml of Floralicious Plus instead of 2 ml as they should have. I don’t know what the results will be, but I hope nothing negative. Time will tell. Here’s what they received: CALiMAGic - 2 ml FloraMicro - 5.7 ml FloraGro - 6.6 ml FloraBloom - 6.6 ml Floralicious Plus - 2 ml (#1 & #2 got 4ml) Liquid KoolBloom - 1 ml The pH was 6.3 in both gallons, and wasn’t adjusted. All 4 plants gave back plenty of runoff with the following pH levels: #1 - 6.0 #2 - 6.2 #3 & #4 - 5.9 They looked limp and droopy when I first took them out of the tent, but each of them got back to pointing out their leaves within a few minutes of getting fed. DarkStar has always been a super resilient plant, and for that I’m grateful! The tent is super crowded, but was only 84.2F, and humidity was 41%. I had to move them around a bit and drop them a little lower beneath the light. Their first pistils have all started to show up, and they look lovely. I only hope the stretch stops soon! Happy growing everyone! 7/1/22: Today is the last day of week 5, and these ladies are huge! I know you all have to be tired of reading that, but it’s true. Today I decided to do some minor Low Stress Training (LST) by using some poles to reposition some of the branches on #3 & #4. Since they are all so large, I decided to see if I could make their branches stay closer to the center and grow up instead of out and up. I ran out of poles, so I’ll have to get more, or use a different technique with #1 & #2 later on. We’re still using the early bloom stage nutrients today. Luckily each plant only received what they were supposed to today, and I didn’t see anything wrong with #1 & #2 from getting too much Floralicious Plus the other day. Today I mixed 2 more gallons for my ladies to share. The pH for the gallon given to #1 & #2 was 6.3, and the other gallon for #3 & #4 was 6.4. Runoff was sufficient for each and was measured as follows: #1 & #4 was 5.9. #2 was 6.0. #3 was 5.8. Tent temperature was 85.1F, and humidity was 54%. All of them have good pistils starting to develop as well as numerous nodes for lovely bud to grow. I didn’t take any new pics today. 🤷‍♂️ Can’t wait till they’re done, but that’s still a ways away.
