grows great, big buds. doesn’t like the cold weather. aphids love this plant. my other auto did not get aphids, despite being 1m away. UPDATE: after curing, this weed really shines. The smell is unique, and strong. Excellent effects with tingling in the legs and great headspace effects while out walking and cycling. Doesn’t leave me feeling sticky-brain the next morning either. Just a clean crisp high, great smell, and overall wonderful experience. Would definitely do this one again, especially considering how well the buds naturally formed into large, easy to trim nugs. Looks very pretty in the half gallon mason jars!!

excellent results!!! will use again. Just be careful, the high nitrogen content can make your plants attractive to aphids. I recommend garlic spray as a deterrent if grown outdoor like mine!!

Grow Questions

Looking closely at the week 11 photo, you can see aphids on one of the upper leaves. I removed all leaves that had them and gave the plant a light garlic concentrate to discourage further bugs. Should I just harvest now given that Im close to the end anyway? alternative ideas?

Ignore the aphids, they won't do much damage at this late stage and since you are growing outdoors, some predators should show up soon enough and eat them, so no need to panic chop before the plants are properly ripened. The aphids may damage some of the leaves a bit, but your buds will be fine, trust me, I have been growing outdoors for close to 40 years and have seen this a number of times before and your plant will be ok. I would not be spraying the buds with anything this close to harvest, no matter how safe it is supposed to be, smoking stuff is much different to eating things. In other words, do nothing and proceed as normal.

I only Grow organic. This is my first with BuildASoil recipe 3.0 living soil. No perlite, only pumice and rice hulls! Just add water. So simple! If I smoke non organic weed, I get headaches and feel sick. I am adamant about organic growing!

I fed these using a Build-A-Soil top dressing (bloom) about a week into flowering. The plants are dark green and waxy and appear to have more than enough nutes from the organic living soil. I pH adjust the water with a tbsp of vinegar per gallon, and give occasional light calmag too.

Some light hail damage around week 6 right at the start of flowering. It’s been a cold spring
