sugar_leaf_daddy A growmie friend of mine had one plant turning hermaphrodite and triggering seed production to several of his plants toward the end of the flowering stage. Harvest has been good and the buds are big and juicy; however, seeds are to be found in several buds. He gave me one seed (supposed to be girl scout cookies) to play and experiment with. Decided to have a rootball monitoring grow diary. Check the coming weeks for its development😎

sugar_leaf_daddy a growmie friend of mine had a plant turning hermaphrodite and a good chunk of his plants started giving seeds toward the end of the flowering stage. Harvest was pretty decent; however, several buds had seeds in them.
Of all the seeds collected after harvest, he gave me one to play with and I decided to cut a plastic pot in half, add a sheet of glass and start monitoring the root ball development :-)
I'm using black cardboard onto the glass to screen direct light hitting roots, I remove it briefly to take photos.

sugar_leaf_daddy Not as tall as I'd like her to be but, hey... That's the price for experimenting with a standard pot (very little aeration of the soil/medium), cut it in half, putting a sheet of glass and monitor the root development... by the end of next week I should be starting some LST... let's see what happens 😜

sugar_leaf_daddy probably a bit of overwatering here given the short size. I'll hold back for few days and see what happens. this is still an experiment so I'm not expecting a record crop 😎

sugar_leaf_daddy roots keep developing but I guess the not so ideal conditions are starting to stress the plant a tad too much. Already showing early flowering developments, short but sturdy. this is totally a fun project with no expectations on yield... why not?😁

sugar_leaf_daddy so pretty 😍 and so cute and... so small!!!! obviously this girl didn't like this prolonged stress... this less than ideal environment just for the sake of monitoring the roots development has been a interesting project nonetheless 😎
