Ok so I really wanted this plant to make it to the end of October if not beginning of November but I'm bringing it down tomorrow as its getting effected by bud rot and just about out of nutrition. Should still be decent though as buds are mostly formed an some hairs have turned brown, just would be ideal in like 2 weeks haha

Im experiencing yellowing/purpling on upper canopy leaftips of my outdoor organic cannabis plant in week 2 flower. I'm feeding via compost+dry amendments so over/underfeeding is unlikely. What might be the cause? nutrient lockout? Relatively low temperature (57-75F)? pests?

@420pete Hot soil ie a little too strong for them has caused those leaf tips yellowing the purpling of the leaves is directly from cold overnight temps ( I know bcoz I have plants outside at the moment doing same thing) There does look to be some nutritional deficiencies as well mainly calcium and magnesium probably iron is the ph in range 6.3-6.6 ? any lower or higher won't allow optimal uptake Any more questions feel to pm me and good luck mate

Thank you guys for the tip burn help! I have never had to ph my water In the past so I'm assuming this is a genetics or soil related issue with ph or just straight overfeeding. I'm going to try to flush out the soil a little and then try watering less frequently. The plant is moving rapidly into flower now so maybe that additional nutrient uptake will help counterbalance the overnutrition lol. As for the purpling it seems to be genetic+cold related as many of the undersides have a purple tint throughout, I've just never seen that come out so early in flower.
