This initially was going to be a single plant (GG4) grow within a PC, however it seems I've been bitten by the bug so to speak. Due to this the germination times of the seeds were a bit spread. Nervous for my first grow!

This will be the first week for the GG4 with the Auto#1s following roughly 2/3 days after. I'm concerned I'm overwatering by spraying the surface. I've been checking the spoil with my finger to check if damp to guide me but still unsure! My wife gave them names since I seem to be spending so much time together.

Decided that this week ive probably went a bit big on the 3 gal pots after reviewing other grows (Whoops, not the worst problem to have) so I invested in another tent to split the girls up. Im hoping this will improve the air flow later in the grow, well until I decided that it looked a bit sparse and started some 1 gal ladies away. Anyway im a massive idiot and burned the GG4, ive learnt the lesson of monkey see doesnt mean monkey should do. Anyway we'll get into that. Sun 5/6 Got myself drip trays for all the pots, which will be help keep the tents a bit tidier when the watering intensifies. Also picked up a soil moisture/pH meter, from further reading soil pH is going to be important (Foreshadowing here.....) Both GG4/Explorer watered today (Not measured, stupid) as meter suggested soil moisture was low. Fed around where I suspect root mass will be and moistened edges of pots. Ariel/Cindy not fed today as both soil surfaces were moist. Im concerened about little Ariel, but im holding out for here. GG4 = 6CM // Explorer = 3.75CM // Ariel = 1CM // Cindy = 1.5CM Mon 6/6 AM Cindy/Ariel surface sprayed as was dry. GG4/Explorer left untouched as they're moist. PM All plants sprayed until surface moist, warm day today and I struggle keeping the humidity high within the tents so the surface seems to dry rapidly on the seedlings. New tent should arrive tomorrow! Tues 7/6 AM Tent arrived and set up with GG4/Explorer Transfered. This tent has a MarsHydro 100W in. GG4/Explorer fed with 400ML water + 0.15ML Bio-Grow, having reviewed many other auto grows it seems that they're giving growth nutes early doors. I must be doing something wrong here so planning to slowly introduce Bio-Grow. Ariel/Cindy left alone as theyre looking ok. Well as ok as Ariel can look :S PM GG4 leaves are showing slight yellowing (That foreshadowing we we're on about), shit. Wonder if it could be light burn from the new light? Ive upped the light distance and will monitor. Wed 8/6 GG4 further development of yellowing with some browning now showing. Surely if it was light stress I would have seen a small improvement, but perhaps im being too hasty. Planning on waiting another day and seeing where we see any improvement. No feed for GG4/Explorer Spray feed for Cindy/Ariel Thurs 9/6 GG4/Explorer fed 150ML of just water as both are looking dry and feeling light to lift. Still no improvement on yellowing/browning of leaves however new growth is progressing so im not too concerned? Will need to ask wiser heads for advice relating to this. Further research is leading me to think ive nute burned it. MY water pH is coming out around 7.1 as well which wont be helping. pH down ordered as im sure ill need it anyway. Ariel seems to be recovering slightly now all be it pale on new growth, will monitor this little one further and see what happens. More seeds ordered so if shes not going to grow big I might slot her in a 1 gal and stick something different in the 3 gal. Thoughts? Fri 10/6 GG4 well and truely upset with me however only 2 leaves showing significant issues, however this is starting to spread. Posted a question and answers are reflecting that I have A) Too high pH water B) Have fed nutes far too early. Live and learn. Advice seems to show that around 6.2 will be a good range to shoot for. pH down didnt arrive today so will hold fire on any further feedings which works nice as all are moist enough. Have LST'd the GG4. Sat 11/6 Officially 2 weeks today. Whilst im disappointed in myself with the GG4 I suppose its normal to make mistake in something new so trying to not be too hard on myself. Ive got pH down and have fed both GG4(350ml)/Explorer(150) respectively with 6.2pH water. Hopefully this will be the start of the turn around a learning moment within a new hobby. I really appreciate the kind words from those that have already posted and of course any further advice would be massively appreciated. Week Recap - pH your damn water, idiot. - Monkey see, monkey shouldn't always do - Need to take more pictures for this diary.

I havent been keeping a day by day through this week (More for my sanity than anything else) as I was starting to become a tad obsessed, resulting in this feeling like the end result is even further away. So ive tried to take a more relaxed approach in checking the enviroment throughout the day due to the heat wave we're experiancing. Ive been struggling to keep the humidity high enough, with it regularly sitting around 25-30%. Need a better humidifier but dont have the space on this current one to get a "Smart" one that will regulate for me. Relying on a naff one little one from amazon that has an auto off feature and just doesnt seem to throw out enough vapour. However this is valuable information for the next run! GG4 - I removed the damaged leaves, as these we're not bouncing back once the pH issue had been rectified. This has allowed for further space for growth which has been filled nicely. This has also been topped this week. Im concerned that im at a height limit within my tent, and currently sitting in the sweet spot for topping autos. Hopefully this will keep it within the parameters of my tent and promote more bud sites! All in all, this has really started to push on, and im so pleased that its bounced back from the start of a pH issue. LST has meant that height measurements are a little scewed now. Explorer - This has been steady away since day 1, this week it recieved its LST which is already showing signs of further growth. Seems to bulking itself up a bit now, the difference between last week and this week are night and day! Cindy - Starting to catch up to explorer in terms of growth however is seemingly staying squat for now. Im going to give it a few more days before its LST. Ariel - My sadest princess was refusing to bounce back from my mistreatment within the 3 gal pot and was taking up precious space and not pulling her weight. Therefore shes been moved into a nursery pot where she will live out the rest of her days in peace. My poor girl...... Shes starting to pull through though! Due to the heat weve been experiancing it seems that ive been watering more frequently, if not every day at least every other day. Ive tried to back off on how much im watering to compensate and relying on the weight of the pot and also my moisture meter to tell me when to water. HOPEFULLY it keeps me right

Hello Growmies! Similar to last week im trying to be a little more hands off under advise from close friends. This week all girls have begun flowering and as such ive begun the feeding albeit VERY gently. As i've already learnt within this grow, less is more! Im still to grasp a better understanding of more appropriate use of nutrients. It would be good to know why im applying the nutrients rather than knowing that I should be giving them. Once again any knowledge that could be passed on is always appreciated! The GG4 was showing signs of flower last week, however has well and truely kicked in. She seems to be stretching well, whilst filling all available space to her. Whilst ive I think ive done a reasonable job on the LST, ive noticed that some are now starting to raise higher than others. Perhaps if I had a net I could resolve this better by using this? However it currently isnt proving an issue and will just have to be tracked throughout flower. However thoughts on how I could better manage this would be appreciated! The two remaining Auto #1s have joined in flower and are looking squat and bushy! We will see what the new few weeks bring, I kinda feel bad not talking about these two girls more but the GG4 is really stealing the show for me at the moment.

Hello again growers! This is week 6 of my grow and is going steady! All ladies are starting to smell fantastic and seem to be drinking plenty! This weeks update brings further flower sites popping up all over the GG4. Hopefully over the coming weeks these will fatten nicely! I have noticed however that some nutrient issues seem to be appearing within the lower fan leaves, I have upped Bloom nute feeding to try and counter act this as I believe this should rememdy this issue. However if anyone has any advice i'd appreciate it! The Auto #1s are pushing on nicely, and initially selected as they stay nice and low however I have deffo stunted these a bit through overwatering! These should still yeild a bit and im having a fantastic time looking after them! Thats all for this week! Thanks again!
