MASSIVE COLD SNAP HERE!
This has been a small plant because it's been so cold, and I've been unable to do much about where she's been kept. Fortunately I figured out a way to get her warm. She'll still have a decent enough yield for me. She's been very hardy considering the volatile swings in temperature. 5C-19C most days.
Three days difference between day 46 and 49. Looks like a completely different plant now.
There was a massive cold snap. She was not happy at all. it know she is small but it's the coldest winter here in 30 years.
I haven't been trimming this plant enough. It's my first, and I'm learning (!) She now has 16 flowers though, and I'm figuring out which leaves need to go, and have tied a few branches together so each flower gets almost equal exposure to light.
I found a way to bring the tent inside, so next week the temperature range will be like 18-20C.
@MANIIAKSINDUBS,
thanks man. she's going well, considered the massive cold spell we had, and now the humidity of 80% that im fighting with fans until my dehumidifier arrives. Crossing fingers nothing goes wrong in her last days.
@@agora, thanks, yeah i'll post pics tomorrow but it's turning into a 'wild-looking shrub'! im sort of excited about it because it's winter here and the temp is rarely above 22C but its somehow thriving.
@TinyTenter, thanks man! this is my first grow, but next time im going to buy those General Hydroponics nutes that you used. They're expensive here, so i went with House and Garden, but I just see amazing grows done with 'em, and growweedeasy recommends them, too, and i figure, might as well.
BTW i liked your grow diary for green crack a lot, though i only found it like two days ago. you did an outstanding job, there. Here, I've been battling really cold temperatures (down to 9 degrees Celsius over night in the tent) and strange swings of humidity (and, frankly, you can't buy a dehumidifier anywhere, ever since the floods last year). But despite all the challenges of this grow, this strain, Fastbuds Green Crack just keeps rocking. She's not at all a huge plant, but I'm a lightweight who doesn't need much. But though I'm not an expert, the genetics seem awesome. She just thrives. I have defoliated her quite a lot in the past, and four days later you wont even know.
My next grow is either Fastbuds Purple Lemonade, or Barney's Farm Wedding Cake (Photo). It's a hell of a lot of fun, isn't it? Good luck with your grows man. Cheers.
