This girl is just going to be beautiful and she will will be adored. This is another that we could not part with and so she remains, outdoor is always a wonder. As you can see she is situated in the bed with our Eiffel Tower along with our little host plant in the centre.
As you can see she is a happy plant and we do hope to maintain that mood all summer long, as always, we shall see how she grows!
A simple diary log means it was a great week for this girl and we have no issues to report. These photos were taken at bedtime after a very windy day. We will clean her up this week and rid her of the lanky inside branches so we can allow for more growth on top.
This is a beauty to say the least and her form reminds us of the Gorilla Skittlez we grew a few years ago, at times she looks like a hill that fans herself out to allow the light to be shared on her entire self. She is quite magnificent, she is always happy and once again it will be nice to see the difference that the outdoor growing brings.
We are pleased to report another great week has been had by all and there are not any issues to mention. The bugs have been enjoying this one as you can see but they seem to be gone now.
The top dress along with Bokashi was applied and they enjoyed a rain barrel treat mixed with Hygrozyme along with Hyshield once this week. A good spray of NForce helped with the aphids along with the stink bugs that were threatening to take over the gardens and Optic foliar spray was applied once a few days later, so far we are happily growing! We have been watering daily to keep things moist, on the hotter days it has both morning and night.
We realized she missed the topping process so that has been taken care of!
This is the tall girl in the garden, she is strong and she is healthy. We have not had any issues to report and we do not expect any, we loved this strain indoors so we are quite sure we will feel the same for her being in the outdoors. We have thinned her out a bit on the inside and she has a good stretch going on right now, the blooming stage is about to begin and the anticipation along with excitement is alive within us. We have maintained our weekly feeding schedule and have kept the bed moist by watering twice daily. Epsom salts has been added to the barrel twice so far and the tea is always enjoyed. The summer just seems to be passing by so quickly, the night air has been cool, the days are hot, there has been less rain then last year and the winds have been strong, thankfully our girls are hanging on!
So far so good for this girl and she is always reaching for the sky. We have been putting dried coffee grounds in the garden bed and we have added Epsom salts to the rain barrel on a weekly basis. The nights are quite cool already so we hope things get started soon, the weather has been quite different this year and it is unpredictable to say the least.
This girl is always reaching for the sky no matter the weather and we are happy to say she has gone into bloom. This is the second tallest in the garden and she is setting up quite nicely, she could slow her stretch anytime and we would not complain! There have not been any issues with her beyond the overall battle with the bugs that we seem to be winning again and we think she is fabulous!
This has got to be one of the happiest plants that has ever grown in our garden, even when she sleeps she has a reach. The mildew is on the attack and it is difficult to get rid of at this point in the season without harming the flower. As always, everything will be washed and as long as we can stay clear of the rot we will count our blessings. Time is flying and the weather is unpredictable, let’s hope she moves quick because I saw that a single digit night is coming this week. Uggh
The days have been good but the nights are getting cold, hopefully this girl can get through it. We have cleaned her up quite a bit and she had to be braced for the storms last week, at one point we thought that would be it for everything but so far she is hanging on. The mildew is a bit of a problem but we will wash her when the time comes assuming the frost doesn’t kill her, nature is the boss and we hope for a few more weeks but it may not work out that way after all.
This plant did very well regardless of the powdery mildew issues and we thought for sure we would lose her in the winds but she held of tight. We would have liked to let her go a while longer but the bud rot became an issue for her and considering the fact that it was near the end of October we really can’t complain because it is to be expected although we still had two other plants growing strong at the time. The flower is beautiful and she had a good wash before she was hung to drip, from there she was taken off her stalks and put onto the flower tower to continue drying, after that she was put in a paper bag for moisture redistribution until she was ready to be bagged for the curing to begin. The weight of this harvest is not actual, we did not have time with all of the work that had to be done and we are not very concerned about it.
Nice girl. If you have white powder mildew on your leaves, spray them with 60 parts water to 40 parts homogenized milk. You don't want the PM going into your buds...👍
Very nice plant, she is going to be hard to get to harvest. If I were you I would pull the branches as far apart as you can using rope or whatever. Lay a plastic sheet on the ground around her stem and as far out as you can go. Keep the humidity from the ground off of her.
Looks like she is close to a house. Can you get a fan on her? Oh and yes if you can somehow cover her. Clear plastic you can keep over her.
Last clear out her center as much as possible. Anything in the center not going to be a big bud get rid of it. She needs as much air as you can get her. Start pulling any off with mold first.
Wow very nice👌👌 looks like it will be a monster harvest, I’d be building some sort of cover that you can setup and takedown easily to keep the rain off the buds, in my experience rain=rot especially in plants that size. Impressive grow Hopefully it all continues to go smoothly for you🙌
