started to notice a cal/mag def. so I added some in the water. I numbered the plants in the order of size because I have no idea when they actually sprouted relative to each other. They are up to the 8th node (going off my notes) and decided to top them and made clones from them. I also germinated 3 more seeds 2 weeks ago and they obviously have hybrid vigor. They are growing super fast.
This week I gave the girls molasses, bat guano tea, seaweed from my pantry, orange juice and a cal/mag foliar. I transplanted #3 just put fresh "super soil" in the bottom of the pot filled the pot. All seemed happier. Accidentally broke the big fan leaves on the bottom 4,5,6 are growing an inch a day.
Cut 50 clones this week, Got botanicare silica blast, liquid karma, Bloom formula and fed them. Topped 4 & 6 and gave a cal/mag foliar. Going to flip the switch this week
Day 21 today, looking good. Watered with the hose they are drinking a lot. I will feed them tommorrow.
Beginning if week 5 of flower I stepped up the nutrients/H2O and added a compost tea from local hydro store. I am confident they can handle it.
Hi @WRabang! I won't recommend such a risky operation if your plant is already flowering. This could be a good idea if done 2-3 weeks before flipping into flowering mode, since the plant will have some time to develop new roots and fill up the new container, before putting all its energy into buds and resin production. But now it's too late, root development usually stop 2-3 weeks after blooming has begun. Hope this helps, keep us up-to-date and happy growing 👊
This week was drama free thankfully. I upped the nutes a whole bunch twice. #1, 2 and 3 took it like a boss hog and #5 did not like so much. I also put the twins (as I call them) #4 and 6 in the flower room #5 is their sister and she is gorgeous! I also need CO2. I have an excess of everything but so I put a propane camping stove in the room who knows if it will benefit I don't have a control to base my results. I have noticed the twins' leaves are droopy I know for sure no over/under watering. I think its growing so fast the leaf stems don't have time to thicken up. I don't know anyone have an idea?
I may have been a little overzealous with the nutes and burnt them a little. The twins are suffering from overwatering (?) so they have not been watered for 3 going on 4 days. Noticed little bugs flying around soil not so much anymore. Just watered #5 and 1a with molasses and tea.
It should give your roots more room to develop, which should result in a larger plant. But I'm not sure if it would make much difference now that you are 3 weeks into flower. Good luck!
