This plant DID NOT LIKE when I sprayed it last week with the neem oil & pesticide soap mix. It seemed to stain all the leaves that I sprayed, and some of those spots eventually turned into holes in the leaves. Wonder if I used too much of the soap or if the plant is just getting OLD and the leaves are getting sensitive, thin, and crispy from that. Whatever the case, I snipped off the leaves that looked really bad (photos above). Also, I scaled back the feeding to only 1 tsp/gal of Fox Farm Big Bloom. This week I'll probably stop feeding it nutes altogether. It hasn't grown any vertically from last week, so I presume it is finished growing upward and is focusing on budding. Overall, the plant is tall and skinny because it DID NOT LIKE low-stress training in its early life. The buds are looking great! Lots of pistols still forming and all are still white in color. Lots of sparkly trichomes! Keeping a close eye for bud rot since I live in a hot humid location, and this plant has NOT had an easy life up to this point. I've probably (unintentionally, of course) killed 10 or 20 seeds or plants in the early vegetative stage in the same time this plant has successfully grown. This week I moved it from the greenhouse to outside on top of my flower bed in the morning, and then under a tent in the afternoon. When I go to move from the flower bed, there are usually spider webs on it, although there doesn't appear to be an infestation. Also I noticed ants crawling on it, so I dumped a tablespoon of cinnamon on the soil around the base and that seems to have worked and scared them off. Also this week I added a pole to help support its since it started to lean over (probably from the buds forming and adding to its weight).

Forgot to mention that the name for the diary is because MSNL sent the Auto Widow and Auto Pineapple Kush for free with my order of Auto Northern Lights. Ironic that the Northern Lights were the ones to not germinate. We'll see if scarification helps.

I think you were trying to add comments to your diary. But instead you asked a question. Go to your diary, select the week you want and in the center you will see a grey "Edit Week" button. When you click on that you can scroll down and modify your comments. Good luck and Happy Growing

The auto widow circular leaves are curling at the tips and the tips are turning brown, and one of the pineapple kush auto circular leaves is not only brown at the tip but looks like about a third of it on the end is gone. See photos. What might be going on and what can I do?

heat is too much for them. shade them with a cloth until they get a little root system going.

Lower leaves are still turning yellow/brown. See photo. A couple weeks ago I got a greenhouse to protect the plant from the rain. Outside temperature has been lower and there hasn't been much sun (mostly clouds) so I don't think heat is a problem anymore. Don't know the pH. Help!

Okay so the answer here is you have nutrition burn. Brown tips that curl up is burn. So i think it goes deeper then just tok much nutrition. Shot In the dark here, but you are not getting sufficient run off. 20 to 30 percent of liquid in needs to come out bottom. Measure this water for ph as well. Without run off if you are adding nutrients it causes a build up of salts from applications. This build up will cause deficiency and nute burn at same time. It will effect the ph in soil is what does it all. Good luck 🌱

Is it bud rot? I thought white widow was mold-resistant. See photos. Need to know ASAP because tomorrow I'm going out of town for 3 days so need to know whether to chop this or not. It has been humid outside lately but also hot, and the pant gets plenty of wind.

Noticed another brown spot on a bud on my plant, perhaps not coincidentally after a couple days of rain. Bud rot AGAIN?! Can an autoflower in flowering stage get enough sunlight being indoors in front of a window? Worried that this is going to keep happening if I keep it outside.

If it is a window that gets direct sunlight for 6-10 hours straight, possibly. I've never tried it, honestly. You might need to get a full-spectrum LED as some backup light on cloudy/rainy days. But, you can get 50w-100w ones for really cheap these days. Under for a 100w. Good luck!

Would you say the trichomes are CLEAR? I don't have a jeweler loupe, so these are taken from my phone with 10x magnification. If clear, NOT milky/white, then I probably have a few more weeks left till harvest time.

Hi there From what i can make out on the pictures they look mainly clear, Really you want to get yourself a jewellers loupe with at least 40-60x zoom it will make things so much more easy for you 👍 Best of luck 🌱

Looks like you need some help. Germination, what has been working for me. Drop seed in glass of water about 12 hours. Then move to a wet paper towel. Keep it in the dark. Make sure the paper towel is not soaking wet. You just want it damp. Then keep your eyes on it. Don't let it dry out, Make sure to keep it damp. It should pop with in 24 hours. Your plant is 1 skinny chicken. I think your light source is too far away. Looks like your plant is stretching. Also sounds like you may have nuked your plant with too much nuits. You can try flushing it. Add a lot of water and see what happens. Let me know how you make out. Hit me up with any questions. Oh 1 other thing. Get some peat pucks. Make them damp but not soaking wet. Put your germinated seeds in those until they break ground. Then plant the puck. Keep damp not soaking wet.

@Pjm70, thanks so much for your help! It's my first grow so any advice is appreciated. The challenge lately is I've been getting and reading a lot of conflicting advice. Hopefully these pictures and my narrative helps. Generally, germination has gone well. It has only been the northern lights auto seeds that have not germinated, so I think they were damaged in transit from the seedbank to my home. All the others pop taproots in 72 hours in less. The next challenge is most of them are dying in the soil before rising above it. I only gave the plant nutes 2 days last week and at 1/3 the recommended strength, but after I noticed the yellow tips and curling I stopped. Yesterday morning I added about 1/5 gal of water to try to help flush it out. Should I add more? Don't want to risk over-watering it since that seems like a common problem. The light source is the sun, so can't really adjust that. After the seeds germinate I have been putting them outside directly in their final pots because I read that autoflowers don't like to be transported. Thanks for the suggestion of the pucks, I'll try that!

Yes just noticed your outside. I grow outside also. If it's hot out try not giving them full sun for the first few days. You may have a bad batch. Are you letting the tap root get like a half inch long before planting. I use 207 genetics. So far all their seeds have been good.

@Pjm70, no I typically plant right as I notice the taproot poking out of the seed. Sometimes it barely is. Should I wait till half an inch before planting instead?

They should be inside until they break ground. Keep them moist not soaking wet. The pucks will help keep the moisture up. They need that

@Pjm70, thank you, will try that!

If your in a fabric pot it's hard to drowned them. Especially if you're growing outside. Good luck
