2x2 cannalope haze/destroyer

old run with 4 plants harvested today these two gals got transplanted asap. i dumped out the old soil from the pots mixed in a litre of ewc, a cup of bat guano (3-4-3) and some wheat bran per pot and filled the pots again. i had these s1s sitting in the veg/clone/mother tent for a while now so wanted to grow them out. kinda feeling like i may do a scrog type of grow with these but i havent decided yet. we’ll see. its a 2x2, the lights are set to 12/12, knowing the parent of these s1s it should take a good 5 weeks till they transition into flowering which will give me time to do some training. they’re under 120-140w of diy leds. i’m not sure about the wattage it was a dimmable driver and used a kilowatt meter to dial it but lost the kilowatt meter so i cant check again hahaha either way i’m excited about these cannalopes. maybe i can find a faster finishing pheno than the original plant. that one was taking about 16-18 weeks. huge yields but very very long flowering.

so i decided to log this week as veg because they have been receiving 24hrs of light for 4 days straight and i also decided to put this old and rootbound destroyer mother into the mix yesterday. that way i dont have to worry about filling up the tent. i’ll flip them to 12/12 once again in a couple of days when destroyer gets over the transplant shock :D

logging this week as veg as well. been tying the girls down a bit. gonna flip them monday probably so they can be kinda in sync with the gals in the 4x4. this is reused organic coco mix i’m running atm, i have only added a cup of ewc, guano, manure blend to the mix and filled the pots with it (1 cup of fertilizer for 3 12l pots). so this one may need topdressing down the line but atm they look like they are going healthy. its amazing how much nutrient is left in the medium even after a full run with basically just plain water thats one of the reasons why some organic growers are getting problems with reused mediums. you gotta account for the leftover nutrients even after doing a complete run with just plain water. other obvious reason is ph by the way. especially with peat based substrates. thats another reason i’ve decided to do organic coco mixes. naturally around ph 6-7 which is great for cannabis. well anyway gonna flip them monday most likely.

took off about 60% from destroyer. all tall tops, growth down below and overlapping shoots. looking to get 14-15 fat colas on that one. soil still seems to be too rich for it and i’m seeing nitrogen abundance/toxicity as i did with the girls in the big tent but its only getting distilled water as well so it’ll grow out of it. cannalope haze s1s stretched quite nicely in the last couple of days and i’m seeing a yellow hue in the middle of the new growth. kinda looks like iron def but i’m gonna bet its just a lack of chlorophyll due to expansive growth i see in the last 2 days especially. so i’m not adding anything now just distilled water. they kinda look meeh right now but soon they’ll be as awesome as their sisters in the big tent haha ps. flipped the tent at 4th of july. edit: i was not thinking of topdressing yet but today i just felt like i wanted to so i did haha. 2 cups of ewc in each pot. destroyer didnt get any.
