sbearfarm One seed never sprouted. I can not remember what happened to the other one. So far everyone is looking great. It has rained Saturday through Monday 6/18-6/20
They were put into paper towels on the 9th. I have fed them twice since they were transplanted into cups on the 13th.
sbearfarm Added 1/2tsp of Geoflora Bloom to each plant. It's been raining almost daily for the whole week. Today they got to get some sunlight and finally dry out a little bit.

sbearfarm All the girls got transferred to 7 gallon cloth bags this week. Added to each bag was 1/2 cup of Geoflora Veg. Added them to the drip system in the Grow Area. I transplanted in the evening, around 7 pm in order to avoid transplant shock.
Genetic mutant, but it will be fine.
Have had plants like this before and while they do look funny, they have grown and flowered just like any other cannabis plant.
That's actually rather hilarious! And obviously some sort of genetic screw-up but I doubt it will affect anything but the LOOK of the plant.. You're going to have to give it some appropriate name ... HumptyDumpty? Eggo? BottleButt? Give her a name and love her the same!
Good luck! And thanks for the chuckle!

sbearfarm Sorry for the missed week. Sinus infections are a bitch. I have upped the fertilizer to 1/2 cup of Geoflora Bloom, and upped the Epsom salt to 1/4 cup. My son, in his infinite teenage wisdom, decided to sprinkle the Epsom salt over the plants; so now they look dusted in rock salt. 😳 I'm hoping the upcoming rains will wash everyone off. I see a lot of pre-flower, so I think from here on out I will be updating these as flowering stage. I have had a few plants die from what I believe is heat stress. We had several days with temps over 100 f.

sbearfarm Lots of rain this week. Really didn't have to water them at all. Everyone is getting their stretch on, and really starting to fatten up. No fertilizer this week. I fertilize every other week. I did have a good run of bugs, but the BT spray took care of them. I like to spray the plants weekly, while leaving the sunflowers alone. Once the sunflowers become infested, I spray them too. This seems to be working pretty well. I created a new template to track the height of everyone. It's been nice being able to make quick work of the measurements and pictures.
Nice big stretch this week! Out of the 10 I started, 6 remain.

sbearfarm Been a great week. Lots of fattening going on. It's amazing to me how the plants change with time. I feel so lucky to be able to grow these lovely ladies and have the chance to provide herb for the people, and an income for my family.
