Germination phase
Day 1 - Seeds placed in a half filled glass of water in the dark for 12hours in 25/26 degrees, after 12hours all seeds were sat at the bottom of the glass.
Day 2 - After 12hours sat in the dark i put the seeds in a Tupperware doing the paper towel method. Room temp 24 degrees.
Day 3 - Checked the Tupperware after 24hours to check for progress & to make sure there was still moisture. After 24hours all seeds had a tail except the 5 seeds of wedding cheese cake.
Day 4 - Checked the Tupperware again after 24hours this time 14/15 seeds had tails & the wedding cheese cake actually had the longest tails. Next placed all seeds in the soil & watered 150ml of PH 6.1 water. Covered the pots with cleanfilm to bring up the RH to 80%+, room temp is 24 degrees and lights are running 50% power while being sat 38cm away.
Day 4 - All seeds were put in soil & watered 150ml.
Day 5 - 13/15 Seeds popped out of the soil like in the picture, soil was still moist when i checked this morning so i waited to water later on.
Started very lightly on the bloom nutes, did some light defoliation of some of the bottom fan leafs that were blocking new growth. Tying down the branches has become a daily thing to do with these girls now. Have some signs of pistils/hairs starting to appear. All the girls are currently taking 1.5L of water every 3/4 days (watering when pots are very light)
This week just continued tying the branches down to get light penetration to the flower bud sites. Still growing a little in height, 3 of the plants are the most advanced but the others aren't far from catching up😇 Really starting to notice the girls are definetely take more water, gone from 1.5L every 3 to 4 days to now 1.8L every 2/3 days.
Not much to report, a little defoliation covering any bud sights, havent started flushing just yet. Had some humidity spikes because of electricity going out (load shedding) but seem to be okay😇
Nothing to update on, still just watering when needed. Starting to think about flushing process for a few of the plants soon, As they seem to be maybe a week or so ahead of the rest.
Defoliating a little just where where have leaves blocking bud sights.
Only thing ti really report is that the back right plant (wedding cheesecake) the leaves started to really go yellow😪, wasn't sure if it was nute lockout or not enough nutes but i opted out to flush the plant first to see if anything changes🙏. Other than that the 2 shortest plants were very very bushy & with my load shedding (no electricity periods😡😭) my RH spikes to 89%+ and i was a little worried about mold so did a proper strip of the plant looking much better now. 😇
Update on the back right plant that was having issues, flushed it seemed to continue pushing out yellow leaves. We've also just stopped load shedding so hopefully i wont have humidity spikes anymore😇
Still doing same minor defoliation of leaves hiding bud sights. Feels like were getting close to the end now. Starting to have in mind about flushing every plant but don't want to do that too prematurely 😛
Was trying to drop the temps a little bit in the last few weeks but its starting to warm up here with spring (29degrees)😂 wo the tent has actually been hotter than it has been its whole life time, but keeping things under control still. Still flushing being watered from the top until run off (about 3L) every 3/4 days. Now just waiting for the fading to kick in & watching out for those amber trichomes. Getting close 🙏🏽🙏🏽 Very excited for try these out
