Week 1 of my Black Jack Auto's sponsored by Weedseedsexpress.com. This is my 2nd attempt at autos. 2 are in 3 gal pots & will live in my tent under the leds. 1 is in a 5 gal pot & will go outdoors when ready(in a week or 2). I will be using Foop Nutrients & will do minimal training( some defoliating & lst). Water will be filtered & ph'd to 6.2-6.4. I'm in my 2nd year of cultivating so I'm still learning so I appreciate the opportunity to represent weedseedsexpress as an amateur homegrower.
Pretty simple week, nothing to really report. They are progressing very well. I gave them a week for germination/seedling stage & this is them 3 days into veg. I will be moving them into my veg tent this week.
Pics taken on day 8 of veg. I moved them into the veg tent & gave them a drink. I Mist them on a daily basis as well. I usually enter a 'stall' stage right about now in my past few grows, hoping to avoid it this time. It's hot & humid right now & my a/c unit is out...fun times...fun times... At least I got power though.
Start of week 3 & all is well. I am experiencing high temps/humidity right now due to a/c being out. Making due as best I can with fans & running lights at night instead of day. I have my dark period from 1pm-7pm to try to keep temps down. I mist with water daily, sometimes twice. Feeding week 2 of the Foop schedule. Really happy so far with these FREE beans from Weedseedsexpress.com
Slow week 3. Beginning week 4, I took a single pair of fan leafs off the top of #1 & #3. They are doing good so far but I feel I need to up the feeding schedule a little. I'm only feeding once every 4-5 days, may go every 2-3 days & see how they do.
End of week 4(day 28). Vigorous growth this week inspite of me stressing the hell outta them all week. The heat is triple digits & my a/c is still broken. Beginning of the week I was trying to bend the top over & 2 of them snapped, slightly. I was able to save them both luckily & may end up better for it, we'll see. I have my branching pretty evenly distributed right now so I'm ready for flower. I believe I'm beginning preflower now & will switch over to bloom nutes today. Hope to see some bud structures next update.
End of week 5, beginning week 1 of flower stage. I've continued minor defoliating and LST, I'm happy with their budsite development. Hitting them with the Foop bloom nutes this week. High temps & humidity have plagued the entire grow but I feel they handled it well. A/c fixed now so alls good here on out. Thanks to weedseedsexpress for sponsoring this low budget personal grow 😆
Mid-week 2 of flower. #1 seems to have gotten a better start but #2&3 are quickly catching up. I added a couple more smaller lights to the tent to give these girls a boost. Fed the recommended Foop nutes 2x thru the week. I continue to 'clean-up' lower branches & top fan leaves blocking bud sites. So far I'm happy with my lil auto's.
Approximately wk 3 of flower. #1 took off first & stayed short & fat, #2 caught up but #3 blew thru the roof & kept going. 😆 I moved some clones outta this tent to give these girls more room to spread out. I upped my nutes for #1 this week as well. Really happy with these Auto's from Weedseedsexpress.com
Mid week 4 of flower. I pulled down & tied #1's branches cause got such a short/bushy structure. She's loving the better air flow & light penetration. #2 & 3 are catching up and developing their bud structures. I did some minor defoliating to open up light & took off lower business that were forming. I fed with The Foop, but my PH pen crapped out on me, so I guessed at the range. I added the same amount of PH-up that I've needed in the past, I just like to have confirmation that's it's right. I'll be buying a new meter asap. I'm still dealing with high heat but medium humidity. I f'd up Sunday & left my lights on 21hrs, stoner move... oops, oh well, it's all personal use anyway. I got no one to impress. Check back next week to see if my PH guessing game works out or not. 😆
Wk 6 of flower. #1 is starting to finish up while 2 & 3 catch up. The smell is starting to come thru now. I moved them into the big tent to have more room to finish up.
Beginning wk 7 of bloom. They are starting to finish up. #1 will finish before the others for sure. She's starting a nice fade already. Gonna start a flush at the end of the week maybe, we'll see what trichomes are doing. These girls have restored my interest in growing auto's. I'm really happy with them. Thanks Weedseedsexpress.com
Hmm, somehow I've gotten my nutes levels messed up on here. Please disregard the 151.42 ml/gal of bloom nutes. It's supposed to say 40 ml/gal of bloom nutes & 30 ml/gal sweetener. 😆
