Doc's First Grow...

Thank you, I really appreciate the feedback. I was given a few seeds by a friend and decided to try planting one to see how it goes before planting a bunch at a time since it's my first grow and I don't want to potentially lose all of them since I'm learning and still lack the experience. I have spent weeks doing as much research as I can. The problem I keep finding is that everyone disagrees on a lot of the grow conditions. Some are small variations and others are quite big. I'm hoping I can find some good experienced advice on here. I live in a med/rec legal state. I'm not supposed to grow outdoors because it isn't in a locked area. I'm worried the conditions outside might possibly be to harsh on the plant. Day time temps outside have been between 85-100 F, super dry (lots of wildfires), harsh winds and I live at a pretty high elevation that is a lot closer to the sun than most. Night time temps 55-75. I don't know if I'm thinking too much into its conditions vs. the conditions others are growing in and write about. It's currently sitting on a South facing window sill. Well ventilatedn area. I had originally placed the seed in the small pot because in all honesty I figured it wouldn't sprout. But it broke the soil almost a week ago and seems to be doing good (to me anyway), except for one issue. When the seedling broke the soil the leaves looked they were getting caught up in the seed casing. I left it alone initially hoping nature would take care of it. I started getting concerned it wasn't going to come off and might affect the growth. So, today (day 8 after it broke soil), I was able to safely remove the seed casing. Besides the light causing it to stretch could the issue with the casing also cause it to stretch? In the future if I have the same issue with it getting caught in the casing should I leave it alone or help it out, and if I do need to help it at what point do I decide it needs help? With the plant only receiving natural light, can it be done without lights? Since it is my first grow and there is so much different conflicting advice on the internet I didn't want to go out and blow a lot of money on lights since there is so much natural direct sunlight available. Since it is currently in a small pot and easily transferable I could place it outside during the day instead of on my south/south eastern facing window sill. But I am concerned the outside conditions (temps, extreme dryness, and strong wind gusts) will be to harsh for it and kill it. Am I wrong? I want to repot now in a larger pot, what's the best size to put it in? Sorry if this is a stupid question but when I move to a larger pot how far down should I place it? I appreciate the advice. Also, totally not a bro! :)

She is stretching to much it means not enough light be careful first two weeks your lady will be weak And you can try to get some nutrients for tomatoes it’s same family one for veg one for flowering , If you wannna just try it out

Growing indoors you're going to need supplemental lighting, plain and simple. A cheap solution would be acquiring LEDs as they don't hit the pocket much (electric bills). You'd also do well to re-pot that beanstalk....probably about halfway up the stalk, gently and sparingly, pat a lil cinnamon (ground of course) on the stalk right before you do this. When you water your seedling, don't drown it in the pot! Water about an inch or two around the base of your plant, watering in the ground vs. a plastic/ceramic container is more forgiving if you overwater. There's also the issues of PH range you'll be facing in the next couple of weeks. The interweb can help you get all the information you need, so your homework...but don't get discouraged with the abundance . May take a grow or three to get the basics

I always remove the casting when they did not drop off. just don't touch the seedling to much with your hands. Don't you have a corner outside where there is not to much wind? they can handle a breeze. if you can't give it enough light you're not gonna see the full potential of your seedling. thats just how it works.

Goodluck bro! Give it direct light as much and as long as possible. It’s looking a bit stretched already - which is a bad thing. Cannabis plants need lots of light to thrive !

Wind is usually between 10-30ph with gusts getting up to 60mph at times. I can get away with putting it outside until it gets older, larger and noticeable to my neighbors. Do you think the temps outside will be okay? Day 85-100 and Night 50-65 right now. I defiantly want to see the full potential of it so thats why I'm here trying to get as much help as I can outside of all the reading and videos. I appreciate the tips.
