This is one we are quite excited about, she was germinated and planted on May 30th. Another transplant has already taken place and she seems like a happy little lady. This is one we agreed would be a fun addition to our garden, it will be wonderful to have some midsummer smoke and we both imagine that she will taste lovely.
These little beauty is doing well so far and we do not have any issues to report. The blooming stage has begun and she has adapted to her surroundings, we expect she will have a steady smooth grow.
Beautiful weather and a week without issues, that is the all around report!
The top dress along with Bokashi was applied and a rain barrel treat was shared to all once this week with a mix of Hygrozyme and Hyshield, it seemed to be very much enjoyed. A good spray of NForce helped with the aphids along with the stink bugs that were threatening to take over the gardens and Optic foliar spray was applied once a few days later, so far we are happily growing!
We have been watering daily to keep things moist, on the hotter days it has both morning and night.
No issues to report this week, we had a good hard rain yesterday and it was surely enjoyed. The top dress along with Bokashi have been once again applied and the watering is a daily chore although the rain helped out yesterday. The rain barrel was used to brew the Tea for three days which was a combination of 444, Bokashi, Cal mag and microbial mass. It was shared to all our ladies and it was also very much enjoyed, as always!
We have found that a good cold tap water spray not only kills the powdery mildew but also clears away the bugs, we will do this when needed but thankfully the autos do not seem to be under attack. Holding steady we continue to grow as does our garden!
Absolute love for this girl here, she is gorgeous and her form is fantastic. Epsom salts was added to the water last night which was shared to all and she has had what will most likely be one of her last bloom feedings this morning. There are not any issues to mention and she is just lovely, we expect she will maintain herself all the way through to harvest.
Same goes for this girl and it is frustrating say the least because we are just loving her progress. The powdery mildew is a problem and we are going to have to take some serious measures to clear her up, it will be a tedious job but she will have to be cleaned leaf by leaf. Hopefully we can get a handle on it before it takes over, the harvest wash does a great job but if it’s to far gone it can only do so much. Other than that she is growing nicely, it’s going to be a busy week.
This is a girl we both admire, it is disappointing to see her looking so rough when her form is so beautiful. We would love to grow this strain again but we would keep her inside, if and when the time comes.
She will have a good wash upon harvest which we expect will be within the next few days and we look forward to it, she does smells lovely!
This was a nice looking plant and we both just loved the form that she took. It went by so quickly but we really enjoyed the grow, we would definitely grow this strain again although we would do it indoors and away from all the bugs. As you can see a wee party took place in her honour before she took the plunge and she is now hung up to dry. You never know where the plant will take you and it is safe to say that I (T.O.H.) had fun with this one!
Note-The weight is not an accurate one as we do not yet have a proper scale.
Wow, really nice diary!!
Thanks a bunch for growing our genetics & for sharing this with us :)
We hope that it was a nice experience, and that you enjoy the harvest!
