Some seeds got started before others. Overall everything looks ok. This is in a small closet with a very short, slanted ceiling, so I had to get a very small 2x2. This tent is to mostly start plants that I can take clones off of for my 2x2.5 and 3x4 tents. I chose a very cheap $54 Amazon tent, and a 100 watt Bloom Plus light that was on sale on Amazon for $52. I added two fans for about $15 each, and will later add a AC Infinity inline fan and charcoal filter.
The Solar Rain is to only be foliar fed per their foliar feed schedule. I have added a picture of the foliar feed schedule as well as their Medium feed chart. Their foliar feed is to be given until around the 21st day of flower.
I topped the plants for the second time, and sacrificed all three Garlic Budder plants I had growing to take 20 clones for my next grow in my 3x4 AC Infinity tent. I also took some Strawberry Cheesecake and Raspberry Parfait clones, leaving 5 plants to flower in this tent, one Strawberry Cheesecake, one Nutter Budder and three Raspberry Parfait.
Week two of flower. The canopy is still fairly even, and I am still foliar feeding three times a week per the foliar feed schedule. Absolutely no issues or deficiencies once again using Rooted Leaf's nutrients, the plants look absolutely gorgeous.
These girls were topped twice, and now have a nice even canopy with many top bud sites. This will be the last week that I foliar feed these plants per Rooted Leaf's foliar feed schedule. Everything looks great with no issues.
I am very happy with how well these 5 girls are coming along. These girls got topped twice each, and now each girl has a very even top with about 10 to 12 nice looking top buds each. I just ordered some SCROG netting, so I should have it up by the weekend hopefully. The Rooted Leaf Agritech nutrients are doing wonders, as I have not had any issues, only excellent growth. I expect to get a very respectable harvest out of this little, cheap 2x2 tent and 100 watt light that I paid $56 for each. I think I will end up harvesting close to 6 ounces, which would be killer for those with very little money, and even less space.
I put the SCROG netting in this week on July the 17th and got some of the buds that were really close to the lights tucked under the netting. The amount of Lush Green and Root Anchor was decreased to 2ml per gallon each, and the Peak Bloom was raised to 6ml per gallon and the Resin Bloom was increased to 4ml per gallon. I also did some fairly major defoliation on the lower half of the plant to lollipop them, and remove all the growth on the lower half that will never develop into anything other than LARF.
The canopy is about 5 inches away from the 100 watt BloomPlus LED light, but they look good. I had to put trellis netting in and tuck some of the buds under the netting to keep them from growing into the light, but the buds are starting to develop and look good, so I am happy with this very cheap setup that I spent less than two hundred dollars on total. This is in a very small closet with a slanted ceiling that will only allow a 4 foot tall tent, so I am please at how I have been able to maximize my space. My idea is to use this small tent to start all my new strains I want to grow from seed, and then take cuttings of those plants to fill my other two larger tents like I did this last round for my new runs in those tents. I will then flower and finish those girls and repeat the process.
It is looking like it may be three more weeks before harvest. The canopy is pretty even, with the top buds being about 4 to 6 inches away from the light. I am happy with the results of this little 2x2 tent and 100 watt BloomPlus LED light.
This is week 8 of flower, but I chose to stay with the week 7 nutrients that are listed on the medium feed chart. Some of the buds look really nice. I will get a modest yield of dry bud from this little 2x2 tent, but I mainly use this little tent to grow the next batch of genetics from seed for clones to fill my other two tents. I am currently trying to decide what genetics I want to run for my next series of grows.
