Here's my third plant for the summer, first time newbie, and it's doing swell. This week has been significantly warmer so Skunky here is getting plenty of heat and sun rays, some wind, and enough water to keep it all moist. Small amounts of eco nutrients given weekly, same as other two plants. Kind of winging it. ADD: Day later I moved this to a 10L hempy bucket filled with perlite and potting clay-based gravel. Gives the Skunky Lady room to grow. Got some hydroponics fertilizer too, but might wait a week or two before I start on that.

Added perlite and clay mix to a 10L outdoor hempy bucket, with Skunky Lady on top. Curious about hydroponics fertilizer use outdoors, should it be added early or wait for some growth when the roots hit the reservoir? Seems like it would be wasted if I add it early on....

Perlite should be mixed with your soil to loosen it up and add aeration. It will most likely just blow away on a windy day with it like that. Any fertilizer will be sufficient enough. Just follow the "Feed Chart" using 1/2 the recommended amount. PIck a single brand from here. I find #1 is expensive and over rated. growdiaries.com/nutrients

This gorgeous Skunky Lady almost doubled her size in a week once placed in a hempy bucket, with plentiful sunshine and rain this week. No smell as yet, but I expect that will happen soon enough. Will start adding hydro fertilizer in the mix this week. Maybe weäll double the size next week too?

The hempy bucket is helping this baby shoot up high, quickly. I started the LST training after taking these photos, and within half a day she was already reaching up again for some sun rays! Unfortunately the weather turned rainy, so hope the weather cooperates in the following weeks.

This lady in hempy bucket is struggling compared to the other two. I got slugs and tiny red aphids on it, holes in its leaves, and last weeks' rains and cold weather did her no favors. Hoping the warm spell coming up with sprinkle some sun rays on her leaves and we'll see some growth. Fingers crossed.

My hempy bucket is growing and gaining leaves, but she is significantly smaller than either one of the neighboring AK 420 and Northern Lights ladies. Not sure whether this is a question of strain or grow medium. But this is a learning process, and I'm happy she's closing in on flowering, however small the eventual results. Been a mix of rainy and sunny days, next week looks warmer and with plentiful sunshine. Fingers crossed.

Still by far the slowest and smallest lady in the garden. Not sure if my hempy bucket knowledge and application sucks, or whether this (free seed) was just not up to snuff. Not complaining though, this is a good learning experience, and the next one will do better!

This lady has been struggling a bit, but she's growing and buds are looking fine. Not sure I'm going to try the hempy bucket again, but this may be the super skunk in this weather as well....

Took a one week break with updates while I harvested my first plant. This lady has meanwhile been ripening super fast, and the buds are looking lovely! Smallest, clearly, of my three, but still the buds are heavier than my Northern Light, so I think it'll give us a great tryout with this super skunk!
