Cali_Boi_C Going into week 2 from seed my grow is satisfying to me, i've been really monitoring them this time around compared to the last grow I did. (this explains why I don't have any pictures because I wasn't keeping up with my grow diary). Ive been on a strict feeding schedule and I've also been adding a TSP of KANGAROOTS to each half gallon watering. I haven't tried the method before but I really need to make sure those roots are growing healthy. I've heard of other soils and nutrients that can improve root growth but for now this is the method im choosing. one of the critical purple plants I have is rather small in comparison to the others but maybe it'll catch up once I decide to top them at 5 nodes (unless someone has alternative suggestions).

Cali_Boi_C Not much has changed as far as Nutes, Light, or Watering method. still adding 1 TSP of kangaroos to each gallon of water for watering through the week. Theyre also still doin good view wise, no Nutrient burn whatsoever at 2 nutrient feedings a week (Sunday and Wednesday). The Critical purple in the middle back is growing taller than the rest. possibly going to top my flowers at the end of week 4 (if they achieve 5 nodes). Im considering toppin one or two of the plants twice to see if I can get 4 tops on two plants. 👌👽

Cali_Boi_C just topped all plants up to this week. critical purple are taking off and much higher in comparison to the ak 47 xtreme. all plants are still growing and I am considering topping a second round depending on how the foundation of the plants stay. same watering method but slowing down watering to every other day if soil is still damp from nutrient feeding. I also cut off some fan leaves that were blocking potential bud sites. another day in the grow room I guess. any suggestions please feel free to reach out and let me know. 👻👽
Cali_Boi_C so here is week 5, probably the last week of vegetation since im starting to see potential bud sites. all are looking good and I've actually trimmed a few down at the bottom. some leaves were turning yellow as a result of nutrient burn. now some pictures at the end are two of my critical purple, idk why on monday I noticed they were all dried up almost dead. so I just watered them with two tsp on boomerang. and they came back nicely. I was a bit worried a few days after but surely enough they made a full recovery 👻👽

Cali_Boi_C All plants were flushed at the beginning of the week. This week honestly hasn't been too exciting, im seeing a lot of little buds starting to form. im excited for these next up coming weeks to see how well the nutrients that I add are goin to affect the plants. im also hoping that the buds for nice and chunky, got about 6-7 more weeks until I consider harvesting. I gotta make sure that I look deep into the curing process. I messed up two plants from my last grow as a result of lacking of lacking the knowledge.
Cali_Boi_C Today I switched from adding the OPEN SESAME to adding the BEASTIE BLOOMZ. I also took the time this week to trim down the bottom half of all the plants. The buds are really starting to grow and im starting to see a little bit of sugar on the leaves. All plants have been moved around to have the light work best for the plant in the new position. I do have the 2 AKs marked to keep track of which plant is which. My last grow was about this size when I cut it down so im curious to see if the buds will fill in and get fat. how long do you think this batch to grow until harvest? Im planning to let the grow until week 11 or 12 if the plant doesn't start to die first. All nutrients are being added the same as before. thats it for now, so until next time.
{Does anyone have any opinios?}😤
Cali_Boi_C It is now the end of week 8 and they are starting to fill in nice. the taller ones not so much but theres time for them to work it out. I removed fan leaves that were covering bud sites and just watching them do their thing now. its been a good grow so far (at least I think so) can't wait to get to the end of next week and see how much more they fill in. I have some buds starting to get more orange hairs than others. I almost forgot to mention that I also bought a pocket sized microscope, it works rather well and these shots are from my phone looking into the scope.
Cali_Boi_C Just flushed them last Wednesday and they're lookin good filling in nicely. hopping that in another 2-3 weeks they'll be ready to harvest. its been a great run so far at least to my expectations. The Aks definitely have a much sour smell to them in comparison to the Critical purples. they have a much more pungent deep aroma. I got this update a day late had a busy weekend. unfortunately Tripple G lost that fight with Canelo 😐
Cali_Boi_C Nothing much has happened this week, may harvest this week. I see some yellowing in some leaves and the THC bulbs are goin from cloudy to amber on some leaves. I am going to flush all plants and hang next week. This is probably the most interesting part of the process because last time i messed up the drying and curing process. I’ve just done a bunch of research on this and hope it’s the right method.
@bobo420, I don't put a whole gallon yet, as you said it would be too much for this stage. right now I just soak the area around the sprouts.
also I checked out your harvest and saw u put those humidifier packs in the jars. I actually messed up two of my last plants as a result of not knowing how to cure. I also didn't flush my plants at the end. this one here is goin to be my second attempt. most of my information I've been getting off you tube growers but their techniques often vary. I hope u don't mind me asking too many questions, just seems u got it down and id like to learn a few tips from u.
@Cali_Boi_C, I take away the bigger leaves and hang dry them, depending on your environment it can take from a few days to 2 weeks. I like to have a few degrees higher temps with lower RH for the first 2-3 days then lower the temp and increase the RH until they are dry. Once they are dry, I trim and put them in jars
@bobo420, thanks, u got any advice as far as when I water with nutrients? how much should I water? until the planter has run off? do I pour a gallon of water to each plant?
@Cali_Boi_C, depending on your soilmix, it should hold enough nutrients for a couple of weeks for your seedlings. There are a number of watering/nutrient methods you could do, I like to water more often but with less quantity. A lot of people water until they have runoff and do so every few days when the soil gets dry. A gallon is too much water in this stage
