the plants are using a lot of water. having to top up the res every other day or so. i need a bigger res.
they are in full flower and have gotten very stinky. the smell is amazing. i can’t wait to try it out.
buds are solid and getting fatter. looking good. business as usual.
This is my 1st hydroponic grow, and i had to change out my water because of ph issues. i made that change at day 5 instead of day 7. the growth since i changed the water has been amazing and i was thinking of changing to a 5 day schedule. any thoughts?
could it be other factors coinciding, and it only seems like it exploded because of teh rez change?
you can always put a little less in to match a 5-day schedule, which will minimize any additional costs.
get the water moving/churning more, if you can... that will extend longevity. keep it cooler etc.
i have 2 plants in an aero garden. the roots have intertwined and cant be separated without hurting the plants. the roots have filled the res, and i was wondering if this would impact the growth?
only if too dense or one is "strangling" the other and hoarding resources. (via available opportunity, nothing malicious, lol)
roots intertwine outside.. in some other growing methods indoors too with no problems... as long they aren't cannibalizing each other should be fine. if you see symptoms that make no sense, like being rootbound, consider a larger recipticle or less vege time.
as long as rootball and most of mass is compartmentalized, i don't think they'lll cause trouble for each other.
@Green_fiend, that’s what i’ve been doing. i picked some and let it dry for about 4 days. shit was bomb, but already pretty sleepy, so i clipped the plant to hopefully prevent it from turning into complete coma bud. i smoke a lot, but not sure i could hang if it were much stronger.

i was just guessing on how long is left. this is my 1st time with hydro and these seeds, so its all a new experience on this grow. the plants seem to be progressing much faster than they would in soil.

Not ready enough. Maybe a part chop. Take the uppest parts and dry them. Let the rest ripen. So you can fill up your stash, and the plant can grow and ripen a bit longer.
