Week 3 done and dusted!! ππ§π
I've been away for a week so I've missed week 2..but nothing to report back other than some big movements and minor pest issues!! π
As they're outside I've got to deal with some more pests and I deal with them as folows:
Slugs and snails: pellets and beers traps. The latter is just a small pot you fill with some beer and it attracts and traps slugs and snails!! π
Aphids, fungus gnats and the larvae, flies and mites: diatomite and yellow sticky pads: By dusting diatomite (made of tiny sharp microscopic pieces of rock) onto the whole plant VERY sparingly it deters them enough to keep them off and the same with the soil for the gnat larvae!! And the yellow sticky pads speak for themselves!!
There's photos of the above available in the snaps section!! πΈ
There's also other natural ways that help me including spiders (jumping are the best as they don't spin a web and literally pick off bugs individually) and ladybugs for the aphids!! π
I'm always proactive with pest control rather than reactive as doing the latter can risk whole plants and I've had that before and it sucks big time!! Especially when you're in late flower and have to sacrifice whole plants due to irreversible issues!!! π
Some great movement also with some minor defoliation (lowest 2 bits of growth) and some LSTing and seen in the photos!! π
Catch you next week for another update including the first amendment!! π½οΈπ€
