I wasnt even going to make a diary about this grow but with the story these plants have already it would be a shame if i didnt, so now i will document thier struggle.
These came from clones from a buddy of mines plants, i got them late into the season too. i recieved them on june 25th, got them in the pots right away. I had them iin my backyard and everything was hunky dorey, until one morning i wake up and the deer had eaten my plants almost to nothing! I was not impressed. i moved the girls to a safer location in hopes that they were not completely dead. As luck would have it they survived. that is the reason i chose FIMing and Defoliation as 2 of my methods. Althouigh i did not do them myself the deer FIMed them and also defoliated them for me as well (more than i would have liked mind you).
I will be keeping you updated as the weeks progress. I also have another diary from the same grow of a different strain, 😋Tropical Punch
This week went well. I lst'd one of them and topped it also, topped them both. They have roughly a month to a month and a half left to veg, hopefully that will be enough time to give me a decent yield. I am in the midst of making a compost tea using 2 cups of coffee grinds and 15 banana peels in 5 gallons of water. I have a air pump pumping air into it.
If you guys have any comments or tips on compost teas I am all ears!! Im new to the whole organic nutrients thing so help would be appericated!!
This was Compost Tea week. They seem to be liking it so far. Next week we will be back to regular nutrients, prolly for the rest of veg. Then another one at the beginning of flower
I picked up some more nutes for them. floragro and flora micro. they seemed to really like the compost tea. the color of the leaves is like the perfect shade of green, they have approx 4 weeks left of veg
the girls have been going thru a heat wave.. and loving it!!! they are really starting to stretch! we have some rain in the forecast for the next couple days so they will be having a couple feeding days.
it looks like the god bud is starting to flower. Both of them have started to bloom. I gave them gro food this week cause I didn't notice the change until after i fed them. next week i will have to change the feed schedule for them. i also need to do a defoliation to them asap
These girls are starting to flower. im hoping the early flower means early harvest.. or even better.. more yield! i gave them a haircut, was a week or so late but they got it anyways. i switched them to remo nutes.. cause thats all i had lol they are good nutes tho, the girls will love them,
I thought the girls had a nitrogen deficiency, so I added some more. Now they have burnt tips, so i guess they weren't low in nitrogen. The buds dont seem to be slowing down so thats a good sign.
If anybody has any ideas what could be happening, im open to ideas
