It finally got warm enough to move the plants outside to there final spot. I have been hardening them off for the past two weeks. Unfortunately the one thing I didn't account for was the difference in daylight between my tent and outside. I feel like an idiot, now everything is starting to bloom. Well hopefully they can pull through.
May 31.
Unfortunately with one Picture it's hard to see progress. I have the twin Charlotte's Angel's in the front in a 120 gallon(3x3x3) raised bed. The middle is where I put the Lemon tree and the Animal Cookie cross behind it. Both are in 60 gallon(2x2x2) raised beds. They are all planted in a combination of native sandy soil mixed with compost, peat moss and pumice. I have also planted a cover crop around these to help with nutrients, soil conditioning and as a green mulch.
Buds contnue to swell, doesn't seem like this one will re-veg, so I guess we just see what we can get from it. Ultimately the two cbd plants will be broken up and made into tincture and oil. The other girls are looking good still looking like they are starting to bud. Hopefully they will pull through.
June 30. The CBD plants have really started to fill out. They smell amazing!
The lemon tree has exploded in growth. Most of the new leaves are 1 and 3 point leaves. Guessing that is a result of the reveg process? If anyone has Input feel free to jump in. The Animal cross is starting to get taller and reveg as well. Not as fast of a grower but still hanging in there.
These past two weeks have been explosive growth. The days are longer and hotter and the girls seem to like it.
Despite the Angels getting chunkier and chunkier, they have gotten a pretty bad case of bud worms. I have pulled a dozen off and still more sign. I plan on spraying with bt or Spinosad. Then cutting them down this weekend, washing and then put them in alcohol and oil for tinctures.
The Lemon Tree really is becoming a tree now over four feet tall. The stalk is becoming a trunk. Still odd pattern leaves and tons and tons of side braches. I did trim her up. Will give another week and trim again.
Animal Cookie cross is also growing tall, nowhere the Lemon but growing fatter leaves now. Trimmed her up as well. Will need another haircut soon.
Overall very please with the amount of growth. Can't wait to see what the next few months have in store. If anyone has tips on taking care of outdoor plants that have had to reveg, feel free to comment.
