Double Smile (Mephisto Genetics)

PersonalSmok3s The girls appear to be doing well, they’ve definitely stretched a fair amount, I’m assuming they need to be a bit closer to the light, but space dictates that can’t happen. Once they get going it won’t be an issue. I’ve started them on a low nutrient mix and transferred them into 1 litre pots. I usually start all my Autos in there final pots, but struggling with space. Happy with the weeks growth, hope this diary has been helpful 🌱✌️

PersonalSmok3s Girls are appear to be doing well, hopefully moving them across to my flowering tent in the next week or so.

PersonalSmok3s Repotted the girls and moved one of them over to my flowering tent. The one I moved was repotted into a 10 litre pot and the one which stayed was repotted into a 1 gallon fabric pot. They’ve both had a slight increase to their nutrient feed and appear to be doing well. Happy with how everything looks 🌱

PersonalSmok3s Both girls are now in my flower tent, had to move the other to make space. Both plants have grown a fair bit in height and don’t appear to be suffering to much with the hot weather. Happy with how they look. Until next week 🌱

PersonalSmok3s Both girls appear to be in pre flower, il probs keep them on with the same nutrients for a few more weeks before adding any bloom. Both girls have grown a significant amount. I’ve bought a new tent and LED light, still deciding, but I’ll probably put one of them in the new tent. Until next week 🌱👌

PersonalSmok3s One of the girls is almost done, she’s starting to fade a lovely dark red/purple on its fan leaves, feeding her straight water. The other girl still appears to have a week or two to go, I think I accidentally fed her a stronger mix a week or so ago, she appeared to be locking out. I’ve flushed her twice and will give her a light feed. Happy with how everything looks, until next time 🌱💚

PersonalSmok3s Double Smile #1 was harvested on the 23/09/2022, her trichomes were 10% amber and the rest were milky. She had faded out a deep dark red/purple and was coated in a layer of thick frost. She’s currently drying out at 58%RH - 17*C. Chopped off the main fan leaves, but left everything else on for hopefully a slower dry. Double Smile #2 is still maturing, il keep my eye on her, she could potentially have a few weeks left. PersonalSmok3s Giving this girl another week of flush.

PersonalSmok3s The first plant I harvested on 23/09/22 day 72, she faded out in lovely reds, purples and almost black fan leaves. She was coated in glistening frost all over and smelt like petrol/fuel with a subtle grapey fruit after twang. I dried her at 60%RH - 18*c for around 9/10 days before putting into a jar. I’ve been burping her for a week now and she smells fantastic. I’ll post some bud pics when both plants are dry. Plant two I harvested on 09/10/22, she was 88 days old and her buds were firm, but not solid. Forgot to take some pre harvest photos so instead I took a quick video of the main cola. Her buds leave a layer of sticky grease all over your fingers, and the smell is to die for. She’s currently drying in the same conditions as the previous plant. Both plants were grown in less than adequate pots as testers, but grew easily and appeared to thrive throughout. Neither got any sort of training as I wanted to see what kind of natural structure would occur. Il do an update with pictures of both plants once they are cured. I highly recommend giving these seeds a go if you’ve got the space! If you haven’t tried Mephisto Genetics yet I recommend you give them a go, I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised. 🌱💚
