Soaked Rockwool cube in Distilled water Ph'd at 5.85 until the actual water from the rockwool cube read 5.85 after being squeezed out some ( I know your not supposed to do it but I've done it this way every time without any problems) I then place the seed pointy end up in the rockwool cube and then the cube into the humidity dome with the top vents 1/4th to 1/3rd closed on top of a heating mat. The hydroton is also soaked in a strainer which sits in a larger bowl until the water reads 5.85 and much of the dirt has settled to the bottom of the bowl, I repeat this until the water from the hydroton becomes more clear a the bottom making sure to wash away as much as possible
