No Smell
TexasPete Once I got them outside and started feeding them organic fertilizer, the plants really began taking off. Topped at 6th node. LST to help keep some of the buds from getting too much shade.

No Smell
TexasPete Got off to a slower start than I had hoped for. I started in peat pots on the windowsill but unfortunately, the seedlings were not getting enough direct sunlight which caused them to stretch without much leaf growth. Moved them outside into 5gal air pots after the second week in veg. I'm also starting this Grow Diary retroactively, so please forgive the sparse documentation thus far. This is my second grow ever and I had thought about doing this prior to starting but was inconsistent with my photos. Now that I'm in the middle of flowering, I'm going to try keeping up with this better going forward. My goal for this grow is for it to be fully organic and to only use dry fertilizers. So far - I have minimized nutrient burn and have only seen improvements over my first grow using synthetic liquid fertilizers.

Weak
TexasPete It has been so dry this summer! Thankfully my organic soil mixture has great retention. Roots are getting strong. I've been defoliating little by little to allow more light to come through, but careful not to remove too many leaves. Pests haven't been too much of an issue, but I have used some Neem Oil and Garden Safe insect killer a few times to prevent the leaf miners from taking over. I have also been using wood ash from my fire pit a few times, mixed with Dr. Earth 2-2-2 in water and PH stabilized to great effect. I've also started using Dr. Earth Tomato fertilizer 4-6-3 as the plants start to progress through the blooming stage.

Normal
TexasPete Buds are fattening up and the plants are getting smelly! I have stopped defoliating and LST so the plants can focus on bud production. I have stopped using the Wood Ash at this point and have been feeding a mixture of Dr. Earth 4-6-3 and Molasses. After a mostly dry summer, heavy rain is projected over the next week so I'm hoping they do not get overwatered. Due to all of the precipitation, I may be done feeding fertilizers at this point and will just give them some more molasses if needed before the final flush.

Strong
TexasPete Moved the plants to an area with more sunlight as they enter the final weeks. I fed one last time Dr Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 with Molasses and will be leaving them alone for the next week or so with plenty of rain on the way. The smell is quite strong now and almost all of the white hairs have gotten dark and fat. Unfortunately, I noticed some spider mite activity and am working on getting rid of the buggers. Hopefully it's not too late!
