These last 2 days have seen my little space fill out nicely. I'll be cutting the back 2 corners of my homemade net and bringing it all forward in the next day or 2. It really is performing beyond my expectations. I chose n13 kush specifically with our UK summers being warmish in the growroom as it seems to like a warm climate.
As a new member I'd like to introduce myself. I'm dropshot, aptly named after a perch fishing technique I use. How you all doing, well I hope. I was inspired by a particular book around 32+ year ago called Closet cultivator by Ed Rosenthal the guru of ganja. Now I use whatever space I have available whilst trying to keep things as simple and basic as possible as you will see from the pictures. I usually get between 5 and 7oz of dried nuggets depending on the strain in this set up but looking at this on day 11 of 12/12 I may even get over 7oz all being well. I was daft enough not to leave a bit more space between the net and the pot so that is making watering more of a chore, this won't be a problem soon as I will be feeding from the bottom within a week. Have a good evening good people and ill report back in a few days as the bud sites start becoming more obvious.
Day 36 of flowering and as always sensi seeds are not letting me down. The tops are getting covered in a lovely frosting and they have quite a potent hash aroma to them. She seems to be a very productive plant and could be one I do in the colder months under a bigger light. I have had to tie some of the tops up a bit due to the weight of them. With hindsight I should have put a second net over them to hold them up.
It's been a good week seeing them tops put on some good weight, not the tidiest canopy tbh and not all tops are of equal size because of my tardiness. I have a bunch of seeds coming from sensi which consists of jack herer fem, wedding cheesecake fem,banana frosting fem and papi chulo og fem. I'm tempted on that old school Jack's for my next grow diary
7 weeks in and she dosnt look too shabby for a summer grow using a hps. I could have done more to support her earlier on and ill have to remember this when the jack hererbfem goes into flower. Iv started her on plain ph'd water today so it gets a good flush until a good portion of the trichomes start turning Amber, after all it is an indica dominant plant so there's nothing wrong with a bit of couchlock
Due to busting my phone I havnt been able to update my diary till now. Here we have it at day 65 of flowering and harvest time will soon be here. Not all the tops are of equal size but I'm happy with the result nonetheless, She's a stinky one too and all frosted up with trichomes.
This was an easy plant to grow and performed well, other than a bit more stretch than I anticipated but that was due to the unusual hot summer we've had this year
A great looking plant, east to grow. I'll just let it it hang for a few days at 19degrees then put it up to 21 until its dry. For now I'll just watch it shrink as the ganja fairies take their share
This plant has slightly suffered in its first few weeks. I started her off from seed in a jiffy pellet in the kitchen window where she sprouted with 4 days. I transfered her to my matrix tent under my maxibright t5 light and instantly discovered her covered in aphids. Luckily she was only small so easy to get under control using plant chemist insect control. I topped above the second set of 5 bladed leafs as these are always stronger than the first set. After around a week I trimmed of anything below these top leafs. From here on my aim was to start nipping out and dividing these 2 tips until I had 16 tips starting off in a 1l pot then moving on to a 16l fabric pot. I used canna start up until I switched over to 12/12. I make my own nets it only cost £1 so you don't mind cutting and manipulating them as you grow. When she starts getting bigger I change lights to my kingbo led until I switch to 12/12. I'm now 10 days into 12/12 and she's drinking 5l every other day with canna cocoa a&b at 14ml of each to a litre of water. I follow canna grow chart and use the light, medium and heavy feeding guide as the plant needs it. I'm now using my lumii black dimmable ballast and a 250w omega hps bulb leaning into the red light spectrum. She has stretched a bit more than I'd hoped but that's probably down to the heatwave we have had where I struggled to keep my temps below 36 for a few days but everything seem to be going well now
@PitteJasKorels, thank you 🙏, I'm looking forward to this strain. I wanted to try the g13 regular but never got round to it, you can't beat a good indica for the evenings

The ganja fairies have finally done their job and the shrinkage has finished. I havnt made the +7oz that I though I would but I imagine with some tidier training it could be achieved easily. I bought a new filter,monkey finance a trimming tray set today, it's a 150 micron screen so it's not clean enough for a good hash but I can do a quick wash with the proceeds for a good concentrate
