Soaked for 24 hours in a glass of water, then put into damp paper towel. Sprouted within 48 hours. Put in solo cups with dome in 2x2x4 tent. 18/6 light schedule, 60 % humidity, 80 degrees. Sprouted with 48 hours. Started with water, now adding week solution of Flora Flex V1 and V2. Transplanted to 3 gallon pots after 3 days.
Everyone looks good this week. The Trizzlers is a little bit behind the others as I popped it a few days later than the others. I hope they will all fit in this tent!
The Autos are looking good this week. They are growing a little slower than my photos which is to be expected. They were getting bushier but not much taller so I increased the light power to 60%. I did some low stress training and so far so good. They did not experience the salt burn that my photos did even though their runoff was high as well?
Well, I think I have too many plants in this tiny 2x2. They are getting too big for the space. I may see if I can borrow a bigger tent from someone or I will just have to really defoliate them. The Citradelic and Trizzlers are much bigger than the Zkittles, just genetics I think. It may be a good thing with the space issues. Citradelic is already starting to flower at the end of week three, Trizzlers is in pre-flower and Zkittlez is still in veg.
Plants really took off this week and started pre-flower. All three autos are not going to fit in this 2x2, so I am moving Trizzlers to my big tent. I hope the 12/12 light schedule won’t be too detrimental but I don’t have any other choice. I will be starting Flora Flex Bloom nutes with the start of week 5. Very impressed with Floraflex…everything is growing like crazy!
So there are only two autos in the small 2x2 now so they have more room. I moved Trizzlers to the 4x4 with my photos and it is doing great with the 12/12 schedule. Citradelic is very tall and was hitting the lights so I had to supper crop and bend a bunch of colas over. Zkittles is finally getting a little taller and just started to flower. Both are loving the Floraflex but I am noticing a little cal/mag deficiency so I will add some this week. I am so happy to have my indoor grow doing so well right now because my outdoor grow is nothing but challenges and headaches.
These two autos are doing very well. I had to bend the colas on the Citradelic because it got too tall for the tiny 2x2. She is really looking good, tons of bud sites. She does require cal/mag with every feeding whereas none of my other plants seem to need it yet.
I can’t get over how frosty my Ethos Citradelic auto is at three weeks into flower and she smells like black pepper for some reason? I mean really strong. She has already started growing back to the light after I super cropped her. I wish I had this plant in my big tent because she could have been a beast. Zkittles is doing well but typical of Fast Buds, she is smaller.
Still having Cal/Mag issues with these Autoflowers. I have been adding 1 tea. Per gallon for the last week and they seem to be getting worse. I need to do some research see what else I can try. Citradelic is really stacking up and is super frosty. Still smells like black pepper to me. Zkittles looks pretty good and Trizzlers is really tall in the big tent. She is starting to show signs of a cal/mag deficiency as well so I need to keep an eye on her. The photo periods don’t seem to be having this issue.
These girls had some serious issues this week. Like an idiot, I let them grow to close to the light and they got fried. The buds at the top are a little scorched but I was able to get them out of the 2x2 tent and raise the light. I cut out some of the damaged buds and finally the leaves are looking a little better. They turned yellow and had black spots from the heat. They look better after a few days but I hope I didn’t ruin them. Fingers crossed.
Citradelic on the left is getting close. Maybe one more week depending on the trichomes. She still smells very peppery, I’m curious how it will cure and if that pepper taste will be evident in the smoke?
