needed some plant to cover me until outdoor grows are ready, so thought id try my hand at some auto's. These seeds were gifted to me by a good friend at Irish Dabs. They are not his seeds but another breeder. So far only 50% germination so not impressed lets see how the genetics unfold.
Potted into her final home. These are the first autos I have ever grown. So Taking it easy and going back to basics. No advanced lighting schedules here, just going to run them on 18/6 and see what happens.
this auto seems to be chugging right along. Growing nicely. I am not going to do anything to it and we will see what happens. The other auto GC has already gone into flower kinda early. so will need to put another seed of this variety down.
seems to be growing real slow like. I don't think this variety knows how to feed from a food/soil web before. I've seen this in plants that have been bred in salts for many generations. normally photoperiods recover from this but not sure about autos i guess we are going to find out.
This one was looking a little light green so I gave her a good dose of veg amendments. She has since made some updates and should be automatically going into flower soon? in the next 1 to 2 weeks I would think.
wondering when this girl is going to flop into flower. I was thinking it should have gone into flower by now but it has not. if it does not start to turn in the next 2 weeks i will have to force it into flower. Lets hope it actually is an auto.
well looks like this one is NOT an auto. Lol at least its female. This is one of the reasons why i never rely on unknown breeders. In this case I am going to call this guy a pollen chucker because I don't want to insult the actual breeders. Oh well, first and last time Greg Kurtz. im flopping this one to flower.
just flopped her into bloom cause not room and supposed to be an auto but ... guess what it was not. Oh well what can you do, anyway it is coming along nicely.
flower is setting in well for this plant. have not really had the time to study this plant like I usually do. It's croptober and I've either been in the field or in trim jail. more to come.
they just keep chugging along, going to give them a Gaia green bloom boost next week along with some fresh worm castings as I found a new local supplier.
well these leftover girls are well into flower, ive done nothing to them because they were supposed to be tossed out but i decided to flower them to test different organic feeding methods. my next run i will be switching to a no till, living soil format.
Well, she is about halfway through flower now and the buds are still smallish but wow what a lemon funk coming off this plant. Id love to keep it and see what the plant can do but I do not have the room right now.
ran out of stepwell bloom top dressing but this one is so close to ending that it does not need to be amended with anything other than a small power bloom top off. This one is between 10 and 14 days away from being done. just loving the smell. ive tried this cultivar grown outdoors and now i will get to try it from an indoor grow. Can't wait.
We are coming up on the last week of these girls based on time from flower and trich ripeness. I will not feed them again as there is more than enough in the soil for them to finish. I will dry them in the room then clean and reset it for a no till living soil in 10 gal pots. Also upgraded the saucers to heavy duty plastic ones. Something I can lift even full of liquid.
ive harvested the tops of these girls and left the bottom to mature more over another 2 weeks. I will update all the weights at the end. Will give them another bloom boost and some fulvic humic and microbes. should be able to quadruple the weight of the mid and bottom buds.
gonna run these runt bottoms for another week. Turned on the heat mat and growth has exploded. So gonna leave it and see what happens as I have not pending rush for the room to be cleared.
buds are now 2x as big as i started, will leave it another few days b4 i harvest. then reset the room and on to the next crop. of Ya Hemi and T fuck. then a Run of OG God Bud
Reeked of lemons and dank, it was supposed to be an automatic but plant turned out to be a photoperiod. Still drying so I have not yet tasted this one flavour profile and potency.
Just let this thing run wild the entire grow. No topping last or fim. I've revegged some because the smell is lovely. Can't wait to try this one. Smells like a basket of lemons and dank.
18/6 is perfect for autos (I run mine 24/0 and they do not mind!). A little finicky with their nutes so beware... but you OBVIOUSLY can handle whatever they throw at you! Good luck!
@GrowingGrannie,thanks for the info, i like 18/6 because it does give the plant some time to grow roots and have a little rest each day. to me that is important
