krintater I soaked the seed overnight in water. In the morning, I planted it directly in the final pot - a fabric one with 8 liters.
Day 1. The little plant sprouted after 2 days. It shed its helmet and film. It looks healthy.

krintater I sprayed magnesium sulfate on the leaves for two days. I thought the plant might have a magnesium deficiency. I'm not sure if that's the case, but just to be safe, I took precautions.

krintater The week went by calmly. The little plant is confidently gaining green mass. I suspect that the nutrients in the soil are running out, so I fed it with biohumus and molasses.

krintater On day 38, I did some defoliation. To be honest, I didn't go too hard on it; I trimmed the lower levels, cut a couple of large leaves from the upper levels, and thinned out a bit in the middle, around the level of the side colas. I'm not sure if it was a smart decision, but the plant has practically stopped growing and started drinking less. However, it's still eating well. The situation got complicated with deficiencies in half of the macro and microelements due to underfeeding, plus a pH imbalance leaning towards alkaline.
Let's see what happens next.
Things weren't going great with this plant anyway, so I was ready for some experiments, not too worried about a potential decline in what was already likely to be a meager yield.

krintater Last week, there were issues with pH and depleted soil. I'm feeding more actively. I added a 2 cm layer of soil since the roots started to get exposed. This week, the situation began to stabilize - the little plant perked up with its leaves, and the trichomes on the buds started to come out more actively. I hope the harvest, if it doesn't impress, at least won't make me sad. Especially considering my torment of the poor girl. There’s not much time left until harvest - just about 3 weeks 😛

krintater The little plant is not doing well due to high pH. I won't be fixing the situation - there's not much time left until harvest, and my efforts won't significantly affect the outcome. The genetics are saving the day: even though the plant and buds are small, they are very well covered in trichomes. The yield should be modest, but of decent quality. Respect for Barney's Farm!

krintater The trichomes are maturing, the first amber has appeared. I understand that the plant can't properly absorb nutrients from the soil, but I don't plan to do anything, just going to stretch it out for the remaining 10 days until harvest.

krintater Since day 67, I stopped watering the plant. I'm getting ready for the harvest, planning to do it on day 70, according to the seed bank's recommendation. I understand that my plant has gone through several stresses, from which it hasn't fully recovered, but based on the state of the trichomes and pistils, it's already obvious that it's time.

Сегодня собрал урожай. Растишка выросла маленькая, чахленькая. Но это проблема не сидбанка, я сам в этом виноват - допустил множество ошибок из-за того, что первый раз растил в земле, да еще и не на проверенных временем и сообществом удобрениях. Ошибки сделал все, какие можно - переливы, перекосы pH, перекормы/недокормы. Не смотря на мои издевательства, растишка стойко все вытерпела и принесла небольшой, но очень сочный урожай - плотность трихом на шишках такая, что я, наверное, в первый раз такое вижу. Уверен, что если бы я растил все как положено, урожай был бы замечательным. Однозначно попробую вырастить эту классику еще раз в будущем.
По болезням поставил нейтрально, т.к. никаких болезней не наблюдалось. Не знаю, это сорт такой, или условия выращивания защитили.

krintater Regarding the harvest: I chopped down the plant, trimmed all the fan leaves, and hung it in a well-ventilated tent to dry. I'll update on the results once the buds are dry. I'll also post photos of the finished harvest.

I'm loving the leaf growth, but man those leaves look a lot like some fat Indica leaves. Good catch on the mag deficiency. Day 18 shows a big improvement in color. Looks good.
