JINJAKANT Today is the 28/07/22 and after a close inspection of her I decided to cut back a couple of the lower leave's. I am contemplating topping or fiming but i am unsure if she need's it. Any advise that doesn't cost a small fortune is more than welcome....... Happy Growing

JINJAKANT Finally got the nutrients and I'm feeding with half a dose to start. She also had a bout of gnat's because I over watered early last week. She had high humidity over the weekend and couldn't get it to drop down to a safe level so I purchased a small dehumidifier and now it's staying at a nice 50%. Treating the gnats to a good dose of neem oil hopefully that'll sort them out.

Is this a photoperiod or an autoflower? If it's a photo, you can certainly top or fim her but this is the earliest in the plant's life that you would do that. If it's an autoflower, don't even try as it's too stressful for the plant and she won't have time to recover. She's awfully short for her age... try raising the lights to about 18" - it'll help. And I don't see any info on any nutes that you're giving her... I think she could use some good NPK to make her stronger. Good luck with your grow!

@GrowingGrannie, I topped it about 4 or 5 days ago. There doesn't seem to be any signs of stress so far. The compost I used has enough nutrients for over 4 weeks. She's now 40cm tall and raised the light to 13"

One other thing... you DO know you need to start their nutes off slowly, right? No more than 1/2 strength to begin with - again, autos are finicky!

@JINJAKANT, Did you JUST do this? She SHOULD have been going into pre-flower either this week or next... Next time, don't try all these fancy things - growing weed (and particularly autoflowers) is a challenge in and of itself... it's not like picking up a houseplant at the grocery store and trying to grow it... you need to figure out nutes, waterings, pH, deficiencies, excesses, lights ... there are a lot of expert growers on this site that refuse to grow autos - think they're too "finicky" ....But good luck to you - I'll be interested to see how you do!

I don't like putting anything on my plants unless absolutely necessary. Gnats are the easiest to get rid of. Let the top 2 or 3 inches of the soil dry out and they're done. Their cycle is so fast. The eggs die off. The dirt is to dry, so they leave.

Hey Growmie, not bad for your first go 👊 you want to check the trichomes, a 30x jewellers loupe for about 15$ will help a lot. You’re looking for milky and amber trichomes, mostly milky, some amber. Otherwise, look at the timeline the seed brand provided, are your pistil hairs turning orange? Is the plant not drinking as much as she used to, etc… and then make your call… happy harvest Growmie!😎🇨🇦
