This week was mostly recovery for the mangled plants. Started getting some yellowing at the top of the big blue Afghan. Colder temps at night. Upped watering and fertilizing once a week with 3 tsp of 2-8-4 and 4-4-4.
Thanks guys. I still have 5 plants that are ok but some of the 3 week old buds got bruised by hail so hopefully they don't rot on me.
Managed to salvage 2 plants decently and completely lost 3 or so.
I'll update next week with pics once I get it all cleaned up.
I did grow 11 for this reason lol but didn't expect a microburst to precision drop a tree 30ft away onto my plants π
Cheers
Well done! They're beautiful and almost done. not easy outside! Here in UK the weather was so bad i really wonder how those buds could stand the high humidity and low temperatures in the morning, and you are in Canada!!! I would fear bud rot so bad!
@Eauderay, thanks! The weather has been great this year in my area. These strains are very resistant to mildew and rot. Last year I had tons of powdery mildew, this year none. It's also quite windy here so that helps lol
Cheers!
Wow, great job. Iβm always curious about this: what latitude are you at? Southern Ontario is about 48 N, and Iβm near Edmonton at 53 N where photoperiods are harder to use.
@Adamlovesgreen_98,
Thanks you too!!
I want to go from seed next year. Ethos are my go-to from now on. Seems like they have the higher thc around with epic tasting smoke.
Cheers
Brutal shot from Mother Nature. Hopefully you are able to salvage something, these plants can be pretty resilient so have hope. I usually start with around 25 outside because of keeping them low and wide and feel like to end up with 15 by the end. Cut and corn worms are madness around my parts.
Oh my goodness.
So sorry for the loss man.
I usually keep my investment in outdoor plants to a minimum because of the risk of Mother Nature or man or whatever it may be..
you had some absolute monsters going.
